Boy oh boy, where do I begin. This place is rough and I would recommend others avoid for any other option in this area. We chose this place after a long day of hiking and we were ready to have (big) personal pizzas. I must eat gluten free and this place had options so we went for it.
We waited to be sat for about 10ish minutes (with only 2 other parties eating in the restaurant, it was not busy). Then we waited another 10 minutes to get menus. We order drinks and pizza. Takes another long stint before our (canned beers) drinks came out.
Pizza took another 20 or so minutes after that. We had no plates or silverware offered or napkins on our table. We had to get it ourselves and ask for this.
IT WAS SO BAD Y’ALL. I took one bite and boxed the rest. Hoping I can add some sauce to it at home and make it edible. These pizzas were pushing FORTY DOLLARS EACH…
For the price, I was shocked at how bad it was. Also, I could see back in the kitchen and. THEY USE PRE MADE PIZZA SHELLS. At this price and service level, a pizza place, does not even make their own dough??? I am flabbergasted this place is in business.
This place ranks my #1 worst restaurant experience in years. So so so bad. How on earth do you mess up pizza???

Every time I’m in Grand Lake, I always make time to get White Buffalo. The service is excellent and correct every time, even if the restaurant is busy my server Kristen is always kind and professional. Often when I’m there it’s only 1-2 working so I understand that waiting for a minute is worth it for the delicious food and drinks.
I wish I could give a higher rating because of how much I love White Buffalo!

Very bad. Ordered takeout. 1 large pizza and 12 chicken wings = $84 – I was prepared for tourist town pricing, but not $3 for each topping I added. (I made my own supreme basically) The pizza was subpar with very chewy crust and minimal flavor. The wings were big, but very slimy and barely sauced. Don’t get ripped off!

Today, I went to the White Buffalo Pub and Pizza in Colorado. There weren’t many options around, so I went with pizza for lunch for my family. The area has an authentic old-western town charm, making it an excellent place to visit. The pub had the usual assortment at the bar and a fun decor.
We ordered the White Buffalo pizza, which had bison meat, mozzarella, and aioli garlic base. The oven seemed like a brick one. The pizza was just okay, with slightly burnt corners. The fried ravioli are defebtly baked, and they weren’t well dome , sadly. – but it’s a pub, don’t expect too much. They have TVs and a classic Pac-Man game.
Overall, I’d rate the service and food a three and the atmosphere a 5. They do have WiFi, but not the kind that says “guest.”

We called to check of they were open and were told they were. A few minutes later, we showed up with a party of six. The one employee there told us she had the other staff call out so she was on her own and this was only taking online orders. But since she’d told us they’re open, she sat us and served us. We always come here as the pizza and wings are great! And they make a mean Long Island Iced Tea!

A very laid back vibe. We got our pizza to go but decided to eat it right outside at one of their patio table/benches. We got a Hawaiian pizza. It was just simple and good! The crust is between pan and thin crust. The bathrooms were clean. The owner was super nice. And his dog was awesome!!! He is allowed to roam the streets of Gran Lake and is so chill! He came up and hung out with us for a bit

Wandered around Grand Lake and was intrigued by their creative menu. We ordered The Stampede specialty pizza. Interesting ingredients that surprisingly tasted amazing together! A little bit pricey but it came out fresh, hot, and tasty.

We had the House Salad (enough for four people). The Big Buffalo and Greek pizza. Both were exceptional. Highly recommend. Live music was too loud. Could not hear to talk. Ears were ringing. The musician had a good voice but could have turned down amplifier. Music would have been better.
