⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Five-Star Experience Thanks to Kayden at Taco John’s!

I don’t normally write reviews, but after my recent visit to Taco John’s, I feel compelled to sing the praises of one employee who turned an ordinary fast food stop into an extraordinary experience: Kayden.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, Kayden radiated professionalism, warmth, and genuine customer care. You could tell right away that they care—not just about doing their job, but about doing it well and leaving every customer better than they found them. And let me tell you, in today’s world where customer service often feels rushed or robotic, Kayden’s authenticity was refreshing beyond words.

Let’s start with the greeting. As soon as I walked in, Kayden welcomed me with a smile that could brighten even the cloudiest day. I wasn’t just acknowledged—I felt seen. They didn’t treat me like another number in line, but like an actual human being. They asked how my day was going, gave me recommendations when I looked uncertain, and did it all without making me feel rushed or pressured.

I had a few questions about the menu—what’s spicy, what’s not, what the difference was between a Potato Olé Scrambler and a Meat & Potato Burrito—and Kayden answered every one of them with patience, confidence, and enthusiasm. It was clear they knew the menu inside and out. They even shared their personal favorites (the Spicy Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and adding nacho cheese to the Potato Olés—genius!), and I have to say, I’m glad I took their advice because everything was delicious.

The order was taken flawlessly—no errors, no mix-ups. But here’s the thing that really stuck with me: while I was waiting for my food, I watched Kayden interact with the other customers and coworkers. The consistency was amazing. Whether it was an older gentleman ordering coffee or a mom juggling three kids, Kayden treated everyone with the same kindness, patience, and attentiveness. At one point, I even overheard them offering to help a customer with allergies double-check ingredient info. That level of care? Rare.

When my food was ready, Kayden double-checked the order with me to ensure accuracy, handed it over with another genuine smile, and even threw in a couple extra napkins “just in case.” It may seem small, but it’s those little things—the details—that show someone is truly excellent at what they do.

And the food? Hot, fresh, perfectly assembled, and more than lived up to the hype. Kayden’s recommendations were spot on. The meal hit the spot, but it was the service that really made the difference. I’ve been to plenty of fast food places that serve good food, but not many where the experience is memorable. Kayden made it memorable.

I left Taco John’s that day feeling genuinely better than when I arrived—not just because I was full, but because Kayden reminded me what great service and good people can do for your day. They’re a bright light behind the counter and an absolute asset to Taco John’s. If I were in charge of hiring, training, or promotions, I’d put Kayden on the fast track to management. Heck, if they ever ran their own location, I’d be there every week.

To whoever is reading this at Taco John’s corporate or management: give this person a raise, a shoutout, or at least a high-five. Kayden is the kind of team member that builds customer loyalty, one smile at a time.

Thank you, Kayden, for turning a simple lunch break into a five-star experience. I’ll definitely be back—because of you

Best fast-food Tex-mex chain in the area. Prices are comparable to other chains but taste is fresher. Has Pepsi products.

I LOVE Taco John’s. My favorite part is the rewards on the app. I’ve been able to claim a few free meals, and I’m always really excited when I do. The food is great! The value is great! Will be going to Taco John’s for a long time to come!

I love the Taco Tuesdays as well as 6 pack and pound. Everyone in my family can enjoy something off of their menu unlike most fast food places. Not to mention a member of staff at this location has helped me carry my bags out to my van every visit. I have to use a cane for walking and always order for 6 people, so it is a much appreciated kindness.

Staff is excellent. I’d walked in for only a soda but the cashier was able to provide recommendations that I could have with my milk protein allergy, so I had some tacos and a soda. Other customer could have been less intrusive but that’s not the store’s fault and comes with the location.

Almost every time I come here I have to gain the attention of a staff member who is completely oblivious to the fact they have a customer before I’m able to order.
It’s a taco john’s so the food isn’t very good and definitely overpriced, I only visit here sometimes because it’s the closest place on my 30 minute lunch break and it doesn’t take long to get your food because no one is ever at this restaurant.
It has a good looking interior but it’s still hard to relax because the pop music in the kitchen can be heard at about the same volume as the 107.5 in the dining room

Every single time, my food is messed up. Order chicken taco, receive beef. It’s really not that difficult. Promised a 10% discount upon reaching the window, which I did not get. 100% disappointment and we will never return.

Prices keep going up and the portions keep going down. Not impressed with the food taste or quality either. Won’t be going back. Would rather eat at the Taco Shop, at least you get your money’s worth and better taste also.

Got the 2 hard shell combo and donut bites today. Was handed 2 tacos and nothing else, finally given donut bites with no frosting, the wrong drink, and cold, mushy oles.

Done with this location. Given plenty of chances to stop making mistakes. Used to be a solid location but not anymore.

Always getting our orders wrong (5 times already and weren’t busy at all when I was in to order twice) and I am proud to say that I am never going back and neither will any family members of mine. This store is the worst. I typically don’t go out to eat at Taco Johns. Honestly, on first impressions this one store ruined the idea that I might even want to try a different store. Not happy and never going to return.
