White Buffalo Grille was a bit of a mixed bag for us.
The restaurant itself was very clean, and the service was excellent. Our server (whose unique name I sadly can’t remember, possibly starting with a “U”) was attentive, friendly, and the highlight of the night! *Thanks gurl!*
We split the New York strip, which was cooked perfectly to temperature. Unfortunately, the steak itself was pretty fatty and more chewy than I’d expect for the price. Good execution, just not great quality.
The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and came with a delicious chili-style sauce, though they were a little firmer than I prefer. The baked potato, however, was surprisingly hard and tasted like something I could easily make at home.
Also, my cocktail was very light — I could barely taste the vodka compared to other spots in town.
We did appreciate the complimentary cheesecake and apple pie-style dessert, (we came up for our 5 year wedding anniversary) which was a nice touch.
Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food didn’t quite match the price point.

I was really looking forward to enjoying a steak, but I ended up leaving with tears down my face, and a horrible piece of overpriced raw slop.
First off I was greeted with a ” sigh, ugh, you’re going to have to just wait, I have a table i have to take care of first” in a snarky voice. I replied ” no worries”. In that time another gentleman asked if I had been taken care of. I replied ” not yet” and he took my order. As he was entering the order, the origional rude server had come back to make drinks complaining about the customers who ordered them. I very kindly asked the other gentleman for the bread and butter while I wait for my order, and the origional guy rudely said ” you’re going to have to wait, im busy, unless he wants to get it”. I wasn’t even talking to him, because he had already been extremely rude before and I knew I wasn’t going to get any help. He made me feel so bad, I was in tears! After this experience I was ready to go home I got home and opened up my box with my ribeye, and I’m absolutely floored at the trash I was served. The steak was supposed to be medium, it’s raw. There’s not even any grill marks on the outside of the steak. Also this hunk of “meat” is mostly fat!!
I’m not sure the gentleman’s name who helped me but he was very kind! The server’s name who was absolutely horrible was Charles.

I chose this restaurant for a large party (12 people) for my birthday and we were easily accommodated for the reservation. Area is wheelchair accessible which was necessary for our group. It was nearly empty the entire night and yet our group was tucked into the darkest possible corner, likely for convenience, but still odd. Our appetizers (shrimp cocktail and calamari) were good, the drinks were good, the bread was good. Our waitress was good but also became frazzled trying to organize the 12 meals once they were ready. The meals were not very good: prime rib was abysmal (fatty, tough, cooked above/below what was requested), t-bone was tough, pasta dish was lukewarm, lobster chowder was foul. The highest rate of success was on the burgers. Sides were incorrect or poorly prepared on several meals, additions like steak butter were added where they were not requested, and promises were made to correct sides that were eventually forgot and not completed. For a near empty restaurant with a simple two page menu, the experience should have been better. We were offered free desserts for those who wanted them in pittance, but half the group was uninterested after their subpar meals.

I am extremely disappointed with how this restaurant handled our reservation. We scheduled a reservation for 24 people to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday, a once-in-a-lifetime milestone. The day before the event, we received a call saying they could no longer honor our reservation because they had filled the space with other parties instead.

Giving us such last-minute notice left us with no realistic opportunity to make alternate plans for a large group, and completely disrupted a very special family celebration. This situation could have been avoided with better planning and communication on their end.

If you’re booking a large party or an important event, be aware that reservations may not be honored—even with advance notice. This experience was incredibly upsetting and unacceptable.

Luckily we didn’t have to pay for this food. 5 people in our group and not one thing cooked correctly. Steaks over done (med rare was med well, med was med well, etc) lobster was over cooked, carrots and broccoli were under cooked, lava cakes were over cooked, soft drinks were flat. We’ve been here before and have had reasonable meals, but this one was not even “ok”. The waitress did a great job of offering replacements, not only to put table but those around us too. Management wasn’t even assisting her, even though she was the only one working 10 tables. Meal taken off the bill and management didn’t come talk to our table or make amends. They were doing all they come to set up the waitress to fail. Kitchen/ cooks were the complete problem with the food… terrible job! We still tipped the waitress 20% on $300 bill. Luckily comps from the casino took care of the bill. Probably not returning again… even though it world be free with comps again!

Had dinner here twice and both experiences were wonderful. Staff were very attentive, my glass of water was always full. We ordered steak during both visits with plenty of sides. We tried the sirloin, bison, ribeye, and filet mignon. We added the red wine demi-glace to some of them, all were excellent. For sides, we loved the Mac n cheese and roasted cauliflower. We were stuffed but still ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which we also really enjoyed. For drinks, we ordered a bottle of wine both times, which was extremely well priced with great options. Highly recommend!

Excellent, every time! I thoroughly enjoy the whole experience, from the food and presentation, to the friendly staff and service. The new menu did not disappoint. The appetizers I’ve tried exhibited an amazing synergy of layered flavors. The crab stuffed shrimp entree was incredible. 7-2022 Adding to my review from a couple years ago, as we just finished another excellent meal at the White Buffalo. The crab cakes appetizer was delicious. I enjoyed the perfectly seasoned lamb chops for the first time, with accompaniments of roasted Brussels sprouts, and the mixed mushrooms side is outstanding. My companions had the ribeye, reportedly the best steaks they’ve had since… we were here last time! Desserts are over-the-top!

I have been a regular here for over 20 years. On my recent visit we arrived to an empty restaurant and a completely revised menu. First off, the steaks, wedges, lobster chowder and bread were good. Issues I had was horrible tasting red Demi glace sauce which I had replaced with even worse Béarnaise sauce that looked like it had been sitting out for hours and cold. They have gone ala cart for sides now. Got the Asparagus that was over cooked and drowned in sauce (sauce not mentioned on menu) and presentation was comical. The steaks did have a cold parsnip puree on the plate that tasted horrible and was cold. Was told by the server that is a bonus gift from the chef and was mainly for presentation. I mentioned all of the above to our server and told him I would talk to his manager. He said he would let the chef know and noticed the server didn’t seem to care either. Saw him talk to the manager and she didn’t seem to care either and never came to talk to us. Nothing was adjusted off the bill either. The old White Buffalo had employees who cared and made sure the best was delivered. The new chef and menu is a joke and sad attempt at being “fancy” with the plating. Was talking with a staff member at the fast food counter and he said he heard that White Buffalo had gone down hill also. Sadly it seems this is known and the empty restaurant showed why. I will NEVER return to this restaurant again.

Most Amazing Ribeye I’ve ever had in my life! We had 2 Ribeyes, Brussels Sprouts, Asparagus, potatoes, and Mushrooms, $168, get your steak Med Well! Dustin was an A1 server, preciate ya man!
