Most amazing, home cooked food you’ll find. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Amazing owners that support the community. Previously an old country store, I sat for hours on the front porch while my grandpa chatted with his friends. Best environment and truly one of a kind! Best people! Bedt latte! Best food! Best all around!

Such an awesome little store with a BIG heart, led by two wonderful people. The food is great, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is refreshing and laid back. Their breakfast is the best around and I love the Reuben and Smash Burger! UPDATE: The onion rings are the best we’ve had in years and the fried bologna hits the spot. As for breakfast, you can’t go wrong with the gravy nor the sausage biscuit.

This country store is such a gem! It has that classic, welcoming charm of a small-town shop but doubles as a cozy café. The coffee is full-bodied and rich – better than most big-city spots. Their breakfast sandwiches are hearty, fresh, and absolutely delicious, the perfect way to start the day. Lunch offerings are just as good, made with care and flavor in every bite. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick cup of coffee, grabbing a sandwich, or browsing the store, you’ll leave happy and satisfied. A must-visit spot for both locals and travelers passing through!

Whistle pig is so cute. The owners are awesome and so friendly. The food is great. They can accommodate for allergies. The specials rotate each day. Breakfast and lunch options available. The shop is very cute with interesting items featuring indigenous artists, fair trade companies, and small local businesses. Highly recommend.

But because it’s new and the lmu students come here, you have a little wait for your food!

First, I was just looking for a cup of coffee, but then got a full breakfast! I enjoyed the friendly folks! Then I went back the next day to try lunch. They should be credited with world-famous onion rings. They were hot and crispy and made of real sliced onions. The philly cheesesteak was surprisingly authentic for a Southern restaurant! It was even tastier after it cooled down and the cheese and steak had melted together. The best thing for me was the convenient location near the LMU vet college and Wilderness Road State Park. No actually, the best thing was the great people who run the place!
