The best way for me to describe this place is to tell you to think of a more pleasant and way tastier IHOP or Denny’s experience.

It was pretty good. The model of ordering first and then choosing your seat is something I appreciate. The portions are generous and the food is tasty. Incredibly friendly staff that make you feel welcome. I highly recommend the savory crepes when you stop by.

Nice brunch place right next to the San Jose State University campus. Lots of great brunch options like crepes, benedicts and omelettes, as well as sandwiches and soups. They also have adult beverages like beer and mimosas. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoors. Great brunch spot in downtown San Jose.

Place was very easy to find parking near by free for the first hour and half. Many menu choices but we finally chose French Toast house potatoes eggs bacon a chicken pesto sandwich two coffees and a beer…… everything was great except my French toast while flavorful was a bit doughy. Those house house potatoes however were AMAZING I was full but I didn’t want to stop eating them. Eggs are eggs I didn’t get them prepared in a fancy way so they were good. Bacon thick and smoky really good. The pesto sandwich was FIRE!! That chicken was so flavorful and juicy really good……. Now for the reason it’s 4 instead of five the cafe ole was lacking in robustness and was kind of bland, my plain coffee was good. However doughy french toast and flavorless cafe con leche aside the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was very nice. Will definitely return my next trip to San Jose!

1 star review to get their attention: They desperately need to add cashiers at the order line. Or allow people to just order via the phone. The line to order food is unacceptable especially when they have SO many empty tables. They have one person taking orders. Imagine if you go to a restaurant and there is one waiter attending to the ENTIRE restaurant. This is how it is here except you stand in line to order. Clear logistics issues which they need to figure out.

Delicious food. Mimosas aren’t the best but the food is where it’s at. Been here twice now and the food has really been fantastic. Would recommend the Texas bbq crepe. And the whispers crepe comes topped with ice cream. Order that after food or ice cream will melt while devouring other food.

Coffee was good, food was very good. Big portions and hearty food. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for Saturday morning. The menu had several options, and my wife and I both got to pick something we wanted.
