I had a good feeling about El Palenque before even stepping foot in the tiny taqueria tucked back off of Rodney Parham.

Great food great service, just 2 things for the owner. The mirror in front of the toilet in the ladies bathroom is very uncomfortable, please just put 2 normal doors in the closet. Another observation, the Fabuloso odor was very strong please change cleaning supplies without odor not everyone likes Fabuloso. I recommend using environment friendly supplies. Thank you!

Place was packed on a Sunday for brunch with what seemed by locals. Always a good sign! Seated quickly, friendly and prompt service. The usual free chips and salsa. The salsa was different IMO and really good. Family kept laughing at me because I wouldn’t stop eating it.

We’re from Texas and I’ll say that the Food was delicious, a little different on the breakfast plates, they serve rice instead of potatoes. They have a large variety on the menu though.

Palenque is great: the tacos, burritos, and tortas are all really great. Great flavor, consistently good, nice tortilla. Waitstaff is just great – always nice and helpful. The best part about Palenque is its proximity – situated in town so not a hike to get to and La Perla is right next door in the same shopping center so you can knock out your trip for Chiles at the same time.
I will continue to visit Palenque regularly – i typically take out-of-town friends to eat there. My go-to is the Burrito Arriero, but really any of their meats are great.

I ordered the Sopes and Horchata, the food taste really good. I believed the food is fresh because you can distinguish the texture and flavors. The drink was a little water down but I think it is ice that has been dissolved. Overall, great little gem, with great service and atmosphere.

The most affordable restaurant I’ve been to, and it has such high quality food. It’s easy to have a full meal for only $11, and with what prices are like every where else this place is a must try. I Highly recommend their tacos, and I’ll for sure be coming back here frequently

One of the better Mexican restaurants in the Little Rock area. Great food, atmosphere and service. I had the gorditas and the carne asada. Do try their agua frescas, I had the agua de melon. Come early and you will be rewarded with quick seating and attentive service. During peak lunch hours, they can be very busy, so waiters will frequent your table less, but the staff members are still very friendly.
