Reviews
The décor is beautiful and really well put together. The ambiance was great too. It had a lot of energy, but it was still quiet enough that we could actually sit and talk without yelling across the table. The music selection was really good and just fit the vibe perfectly.
Right when we walked in, the hosts at the front were super sweet and welcoming and set the tone right away. Service all night was really good — friendly and attentive without hovering. The general manager Michael came around often and he was awesome. Very kind and attentive, and you could tell he genuinely cared that we were having a good experience.
The food and drinks were just as good as the atmosphere. The lobster risotto was creamy and flavorful, the short ribs were super tender, and the old-fashioned was smooth and balanced. The heat & honey cocktail was really good too, perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The botanical muse was top notch, and very pretty too. My favorite was definitely the global sour; that was incredible.
It honestly feels like a place they didn’t rush opening — you can tell they really thought through the details. 5/5. We’ll definitely be back.
Our first visit to Whiskey Yard for our Love Day dinner was phenomenal! From the warm welcome at the door to the beautiful ambiance and elevated vibe, everything felt top tier.
The food? AMAZING. My husband had the Whiskey Braised Short Rib Poutine and Ribeye Steak — both perfectly done. I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Roasted Garlic Loaf, and the Aji Pappardelle Pasta with extra cotija… SO good! Every bite was flavorful and intentional.
Ben, Natalie, and Patrick delivered true white-glove service, and the champagne toast to end the night was the perfect touch.
We will absolutely be back. Five stars, well earned! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food was absolutely delicious, and my drinks were just as great—everything was flavorful and well-made. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the service. My server went above and beyond to make my visit special. They were attentive, friendly, and even took the time to hand-draw me a Happy Birthday card, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.
It’s rare to find a place that nails everything from the environment to the service and food, but Whiskey Yard definitely does. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!
Hannah and AB greeted me right when I walked in and made the first moment warm, magnetic, and welcoming. I opted to sit at the bar (centrally located so I could not only observe the entire restaurant’s unique decor, but also had a front row seat to the lovely musician, Hillary) and it was absolutely the right choice.
Carlos and Mateo took care of me and made absolutely delicious cocktails, recommend personally after they got to know my taste profile. They were both so genuine and kind, not to mention superbly skilled, and made the night spectacular.
I have a food allergy that they took care to make sure the kitchen knew, and then the manager, Patrick, personally followed up on that to make sure everything was prepped appropriately. He was phenomenal! Clearly passionate about his field, he engaged not only me but all the other guests, while simultaneously hyping up his team.
Who knew a Wednesday night could rock as hard as a Friday or Saturday? I will absolutely be back (have to try the rest of the menu), this time with my whole friend group.
Don’t miss out!
My personal favorite dishes were the chopped caesar salad and the whiskey braised short rib poutine. We only had a few small plates and drinks, but would love to come back and try some of their larger entrees!
Our waitress gave my dad a birthday card signed by all the staff which we thought was very nice.
We tried to use some gift vouchers from a past Epic Brands gift card sale – our waitress and the restaurant management team made every effort to accept them for us. We didn’t end up being able to use them, but it didn’t change the fact that the food was delicious and the service was great!
Another great restaurant from the Epic Brands line. We will absolutely be back!
Next time would love to go at night when piano or live music. Drinks, food, dessert were all good. Owner/manager checked on us multiple times. Waitress was great! Arancini was my favorite. Gnocchi was good but pancetta little salty for me. Husband had short rib and polenta, it was fantastic. Tiramisu was good and he loved the smoked chocolate terrine. The other reviews are a bit ridiculous seeing how they just opened. Give them some grace, be patient. Enjoy the actual experience you came for.
The piano player was extremely good she had a beautiful voice.
Service was great it is a mix of high end service while still being casual. The staff has clearly been trained very well and they go out of their way to get everything just right.
I splurged on the Filet Mignon au café , and have to say this was THE BEST fillet mignon meals. The flavors worked wonderfully. Also, impressed just they did not provide a traditional steak knife – because it didn’t need one. So tender I could have just used a fork
We also had the whipped feta appetizer which was also delicious
My table mates all thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well
So happy to have a nice place with great food that is not part of a chain
