It was my birthday, My daughter and boyfriend Joe took me out for dinner. Dinner was outstanding food was hot ,we had the Captain platter it had fried fish n Chips with shrimp nicely cooked.shrimp was deep fried very meaty.

Little spot in Oakley for decent food and fun atmosphere. Had the spicy chicken sandwich and garlic fries which was good for the price. The drink was the general old fashioned which was good as well. Overall great place.

I was the only asian person who came in and ordered to go today…lol. The gentleman running the restaurant was the nicest and he looked like he was working by himself. All the patrons were super friendly and it feels like one of those restaurants you see on 90s sitcoms where everyone knows each and hangs out.
I got the lobster roll and the bacon and bleu cheese burger. Probably the best lobster roll ive ever tried in my life! The fries are super good too.
Before you go to chipotle or subway, i hope you decide to support local businesses like this first. It also looks to be veteran owned! A+

My first time and it won’t be the last . Whiskey Tango Foxtrot offers a solid dining experience, with some highs and a few notable lows. I recently had their country fried steak with eggs, paired with country-style potatoes and a Bloody Mary. The meal was very good—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying, with the Bloody Mary providing a perfect kick. The prices were fair, making it a good value for what you get. People who stop in are friendly and sometimes talkative.
The bar has a military and first responders theme, but I was surprised that there was no mention of a military discount, which felt like a missed opportunity to align with their theme. The outdoor patio, while spacious, could benefit greatly from added turf and large games, which would enhance the atmosphere and make it more inviting. It’s a bit of a missed opportunity given the ample space available, which could otherwise be a perfect spot for parties. They should work with the marina owner to have more spots to pull up (assuming there’s adequate water access).
However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom, in particular, seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, with rusted fixtures, grime, and an unsigned cleaning log on the door—a clear sign of neglect. It felt like a public park bathroom. The unfinished koi pond (or perhaps another water feature) in front added to the sense of incompleteness, and the overflowing trash can outside didn’t help the first impression.
Despite these issues, the food was genuinely good, and the staff was incredibly helpful, though I only noticed one table cleaner and one bartender, which could explain some of the service gaps.
Overall, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has potential with its solid food and friendly service, but it desperately needs attention to cleanliness and some thoughtful upgrades to fully deliver on its promise.

Always a great place for food and dining outside! Service can be a little slow but I always go there to take my time and enjoy their deck so it’s not a big deal for me. Good food and nice portions!

My wife and I ate dinner here for the first time, right up front it was just ok. The service/server was excellent & top notch attention but it stops there. The food is really poor in quality and taste. My wife’s fish and chip was so thick with batter and very tough with hardly any fish and my philly sandwich although served hot, had no sweet peppers or onions. It was also served on a not so soft roll that was incorrect for the sandwich. The garlic fries side were good.
The atmosphere was noisy but people sounded like they were enjoying themselves, drinks looked expensive so I passed.

Ended up being a fluke find while killing time before a wedding and thankfully we picked the right spot. The staff were very friendly and had probably one of the best burgers, clam chowder and bloody Marys I’ve ever had. We ended up meeting friends there the next morning for breakfast after the wedding and the breakfast did not disappoint either and without a doubt decided to opt for the bloody Mary again. Perhaps the best part about the place is they are pro-military & pro-first responders and offer a discount for both. Also a great spot for outdoor dining on the water next to the marina. Thanks again for the great food and service!!
