This is a top 3 place to take someone out to eat in the area. You won’t find a better combination of food (try the tuna), drink (lots of whiskey choices), service and location. The outside is understated, and the interior is more Louisville bourbon bar. I sat at the bar and was very impressed with the service and extensive liquor selection. If you’re in the area, this is the place to go.

Love this Main Street area and decided to stop in. Whiskey Road has a great atmosphere with good food! I ordered the smoked turkey reuben which was served on sourdough and had great flavor. They have a large drink menu with pages of whiskey choices for the whiskey lover. I really enjoyed this place and will be back when in town again!!

Great atmosphere and clean. Get the Chicken and waffles! Also had prime rib chili, it was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Unique stop for food. Service was exceptional the young waiter Hunter had great recommendations and checked on us the right amount. The food was very fresh and some unique takes on traditional dishes. The tomato soup was very rich with deep fresh flavors. The coleslaw was very creamy and delicious. The seared tuna was perfectly prepared. The bed of sauce had a very unique taste with a hint of BBQ. The very thin sliced cucumber and red onion was absolutely perfect paring with the Tuna. The whole dish was a pleasent surprise in a BBQ bar resturant. Definitely 5 star service and food.

This place…this place is legit! I ordered several Old Fashioned drinks with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked from two different bartenders, and each one was consistently good! I also ordered their ribeye steak with French fries and a side order of mashed potatoes – everything about it was good. They gave me a salad but I ended up giving that away to a colleague and she said it was really good.
For anyone who’s visiting, this place is definitely worth checking out. My experience with the staff, food, and drinks were all exceptional.

Arrived 17 February. Was seated quickly. The waitress that seated us stated she would bring us silverware but never did. It’s alright. She forgot. Jonathan was our server as he was also the bartender. Was very efficient & polite. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend eating here again.

On a better day this restaurant may have received four stars, but I had some issues with my visit. But to start with the positives, the chicken and waffles were really good (crispy, hot, and the waffles were full of flavor) and the bourbon butter was delicious. The waffles were coated with a granola crunch topping that I loved.
What upset me about the visit:
I received the wrong kind of soup (I ordered French Onion soup and got chicken noodle). The chicken noodle soup was oddly thick and gelatinous.
The chicken and waffles were expensive. Just this one item was nearly $20, while there was a lot of chicken, the dish comes with a very small portion of waffle.
My order was ready for pickup 10+ minutes ahead of time. I arrived early knowing this was going to happen, but had I not, the food would have been soggy and not as good if I waited until the actual pickup time.

The atmosphere was that of a spirts bar (TGI FRIDAYS or Applebee’s), which was fine. Our service was mediocre, it almost felt as if we were forgotten. What was suppose to be a celebration dinner, turned out to be a huge waste of time, energy/effort, gas (aka $), as well the money spent on the meals.
We drove 1.5 hours to celebrate my son completing basic training, but unfortunately, all of our meals was a total letdown. EVERY dish—from the soupy, lukewarm white queso spinach dip to my son’s cold wings & fries—was served at room temperature at best. My Garlic Parmesan chicken was barely cooked through, and my mother’s Chicken Ranch Alfredo was also served lukewarm. Ironically, the ‘extra sauce’ she requested only arrived when we were asking for to-go boxes, and it was the only hot item we received.
$95 (which wasn’t bad for 3 people and the food portions) and three hours on the road for a food we couldn’t/didn’t even eat, despite boxing up the food.
Before anyone asks, no we didn’t send the food back nor did we complain for few reasons. Reasons being- we had a long drive back to our hotel, early flights the next morning, I don’t trust food I send back. And lastly, I didn’t want to deal with excuses or fake apologies. We boxed the food but ended up not eating it (none of it). This experience was a very disappointing way to end a very special day.
However, everyone else’s food looked and smelled delicious and their server seemed to be very attentive. Their experience clearly wasn’t ours.

I would give this restaurant a five star, but I am totally bummed what they did. I usually get their smokehouse chicken salad wrap. And they discontinued this item. Why, I have no idea. Because it was so delicious. Why get rid of something on their menu that is so awesome. Otherwise, this place has amazing food. I really hope they reconsider and bring back the chicken salad wraps. I was devastated when they said they no longer have that item.

Stopped in here for brunch with friends. The pretzel bread app and chorizo queso dip app was delish. My friends thought the pretzel was a little salty and loved the bourbon butter. I was slightly disappointed with the brunch meals b/c they didn’t use fresh eggs. But overall it was decent. The service was really good, all the wait staff were extremely attentive.
