Whiskey Bird is a casual spot in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland/Morningside neighborhood serving Pacific Rim–inspired dishes and classic cocktails. Inspired by our founder’s childhood in Hong Kong, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the West Coast, our brunch and dinner menus span vibrant, citrusy, herbaceous plates—like our spicy miso-herb Caesar salad, ahi tuna gyoza tacos, and Thai steak and noodle bowl—to rich, umami-packed favorites like okonomiyaki-style crispy Brussels, spiced cauliflower esquites, and brunch bao Benedict. The atmosphere? Coastal vibes to match the menu, with friendly staff and murals by Atlanta artist Christina Kwan across the dining room, front patio, and enclosed, heated back patio.
Grilled yakitori skewers & cross-cultural fusion plates (tacos, burgers) in an easygoing space.

I loved their coffee menu. I tried a maple/cardamom coffee and it was so yummy.
We also shared the crispy chicken bao sliders, chicken gyoza tacos, crispy rice with spicy tuna and the brussel sprouts. Everything was fresh and came quickly. Delicious dishes. We really enjoyed them all.
Very friendly waitress. She was perfect for attention. And she brought a little chocolate sticks with the bill.
Really nice experience!!
Smashed burger and the bao bun Benedicts are fantastic. The fried chicken burrito is cool too and the side salad that comes with many dishes is fantastic!
Great drinks and an all around easy spot to come to!
Brunch at Whiskey Bird was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance—lively and stylish while still relaxed enough to enjoy a slow weekend meal. The space has a warm, welcoming energy that immediately puts you in a good mood.
The food was outstanding. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with bold flavors and great presentation. The menu offers a creative twist on brunch favorites, and everything we tried came out fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in the details.
Service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The staff made the experience feel easy and enjoyable, which is exactly what you want from a weekend brunch.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot that combines great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service, Whiskey Bird absolutely delivers. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.
Good food. We like it here
We’ve been a couple times now and always rave about it for weeks later. Such a nice space with friendly staff and great dishes. The vibes are always a bit odd -kinda upscale but tables are very close, so it’s fun to see a few romantic dates next to a loud family or work group. Zero criticisms on food. It’s great. Just eat. You can’t go wrong. Especially the salmon, steak salad, chicken sliders, okonomiyaki
Drinks are interesting but not my gold standard for a whiskey cocktail, and the beer selection always makes me go “huh”
Constructive criticism aside, this is a great restaurant. Highly recommend.
