Great drinks, amazing outside patio and fire pits to sit around! Even had live music when we were there!

Nice place. They had live music and several tvs to watch sports. Bar tender was working hard, but the place was packed and understaffed. He received a nice tip and we bussed a table so we had a place to watch the entertainment. We did not eat so could not rate food.

This is a lovely dog-friendly outdoor bar in the middle of the homestead. The food is always good and its a relaxing way to end the day.

Whiskers is a fine option for bar food in the Glen Arbor area. The main draw is the open outdoor seating and games/recreation area for kids in your party. If you’re at The Homestead, proximity is its other huge advantage.

The food is all GFS bar food stuff, served in paper trays. Service is pretty lackluster – you walk up to the bar to order drinks and food, you grab them yourself from the kitchen (including plastic utensils and ketchup packets).

It could certainly be better, and it has somewhat limited hours, but it usually hits the spot. I am not sure why you would come here expecting gourmet fare or vegan options or anything like that – it’s about as stripped down as a place could be before becoming a cafeteria at an old Elks Lodge or something.

Wine by the 1/2 plastic cup $12. Only one choice of a red or white. Really disappointing for a resort. Food was okay simply burgers.

Food was amazing & super fresh. We had a burger, the veggie burger (black bean veggie mix burger), chicken sandwich, fried green beans, hummus & pita. Hummus was red pepper & the best I’ve ever had. Fries were crispy & perfect. Everything was delicious & fairly priced. Would definitely go again!

Hiked to Whiskers from the nearby Bay View Trail and was fortunate to get there before the ski rush. Plenty of outside seating and fire pits as well as heaters as they do their best to accommodate the outside f&b requirements. The bartender and staff were wonderful as was the food, awesome pulled pork sandwich and perfect fries. The food is hot as you’re able to get it only steps from the kitchen which is another plus. They made sure any line that formed at the bar stayed away from the seated patrons which was appreciated. Very happy that we have whiskers as an outside option for the area and a great variety on the menu.

We used to love Whiskers, but were very disappointed with our latest visit on Sunday. No one at the restaurant was able to confirm any vegan food so I left hungry.

I spoke to the two cooks, who were nice but said nothing was vegan. When I tried to ask about specific ingredients (because it seems like the roasted veggie dish could be vegan!!) they said they didn’t know the ingredients in anything.

I would happily improve my rating if:
– there is an entree that could be served vegan
– there was an indication at the bottom of the menu clarifying if the food items marked (V) mean vegan or vegetarian.
– the chefs were more informed about the menu and ingredients in the food they cook.

We have a summer home at the Homestead and usually come to Whiskers on a weekly (at least) basis. Now we drive into Glen Arbor, but would much prefer to come back to Whiskers!!

Food was decent. Cheese curds are great! Staff working inside was rude when I asked for clarification on my order. Bar guy said one thing, inside staff said something else, and the inside staff treated me like an idiot for asking a question. Kind of ruined our meal. We were one of 2 tables because the weather was awful. Disappointed.

Family friendly. Great staff. We only had hamburgers and fries so hard to rate the food, but what we had was good and hot. They do need to be very clear that they are only open on weekends until spring (and closed a month).
