I visited this pub during the Christmas season, and it was such a lovely experience. The place was beautifully decorated and had a really charming, festive atmosphere. The cocktails were good, and the music made the night even more enjoyable, a great spot for dancing and having fun.

They don’t serve food themselves but there’s a gyro truck outside on the weekends and that’s 5 stars because kebab pairs great with the power of rock and roll.

I really liked the vibes and all the old TVs. I am always a sucker for multi level bars and the couches at the top super cozy. I liked all the retro decor and the fact they had plenty of seating areas. Staff was very friendly and drinks a fair price. Appreciated the fact that their Dj night was free of charge.

This is one the finest establishments in Louisville, in Kentucky, and in the United States. Vibes aplenty as you walk in the door, the friendly staff will take your order and provide excellent service to all in need. Their annual Christmas pop-up is second to none and music venue is both surprisingly spacious & has good acoustics. Can’t recommend this place enough for any and all.

Have been coming to Whirling Tiger for years. Great shows and great drinks. Cozy, mid century modern decor, cheep beer, great cocktails, and kind staff. Neighborhood bar in the front, full on music venue in the back.
Great spot to catch both local acts and national touring acts. Also wonderful to work with from the artist side. Great sound.

The Whirling Tiger is the spot I drive by every single day. Unfortunately a lot of their events are for later in the day, until now because they offer coffee now as well. Well, this time we went for the holiday bar. This spot has the most elaborate decorations of any of the holiday bars that we had gone to. It felt like you were in an 80s Christmas movie. There’s multiple rooms and they’re all decorated slightly differently. There’s even a theater upstairs to watch holiday movies. I really appreciated the atmosphere and the holiday spirit. I may have to stop in on a morning to get some coffee as well.

This place is a whole vibe. Stylish space, amazing bartenders, and an upstairs lounge with SHAG carpet that feels like a retro dream. It’s also a legit music venue, so you can grab a drink and catch a great show in the same night.
They even turned it into a Secret Santa bar once, which tells you everything you need to know about their creativity.
