I don’t know what all the negative reviews are about!! This place is an absolute gem!! Traveled an hour to get the best hot dogs and cheeseburgers! Don’t get me started on the milkshakes!! The man uses top notch ingredients and the best hamburger he can get his hands on!! So for all you haters… kick rocks!!!

We walked into an impromptu rock show with the owner in his son, jamming out to Metallica and Ozzy!
We thought we were going to get just a hot dog with a bunch of fancy toppings.But oh no… This is a gourmet food vendor located in an unassuming building in Union! Gourmet!
The customer in front of us ordered what looked to be easily a half pound burger freshly grilled right there in front of our eyes and a few street tacos…we were intrigued!
We ordered the street tacos, a brat and a chili cheese dog. Holy batman y’all it was phenomenal!
In my husband’s expert description, he said that the chilly dog was the bomb!
The brats were fresh as some of the best…but y’all THE STREET TACOS! Fresh steak, toppings and just delicious!
And don’t let the name fool you he had a list of sandwiches that we can’t wait to be hungry again to go back and try!
If you’re out and about and looking for a rock show and a delicious bite to eat stop in you won’t be disappointed!

A hidden gem in Union, MO! We were in for a family wedding, so we weren’t very familiar with the area. We always like to check out new restaurants, so when I searched and found this place, we were excited to check it out. There isn’t a sign out front, except for a flag that says Hot dogs and a giant blowup hotdog outside. That being said, the food was AMAZING! The owner was personable and friendly, and he even entertained us with some live music! If you haven’t been there, you need to go! You won’t regret it!!

Hidden gem we found on our road trip. Tons of different variations that he came up with, and any topping you can imagine! We got the Mac n cheese dog, Wonder Weenie & a classic with MK and pickles. Dogs were very high quality and pretty big! Kids loved the ices as well! Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. It’s everything you need. If you go to the nearby Jack in the Box over this, you should reconsider your life choices.
The interior is beautiful, the service is amazing, and there’s live music/entertainment – there’s a kid in there who slams on drums. Prepare for some noise if you don’t wanna have a quick grab and go, though I’m sure the staff would accommodate you if asked. They were so nice in there.
There are so many dog varieties, I got a mushroom Swiss and my friend got the mac and spud lover. The dogs get messy, grab napkins. You can get milkshakes in “any flavor you can think of,” and I can’t wait to do so on the way back home.

Great service and fast service. I ordered the pizza dog which had a good kick to it. The buns are soft and the wieners are a good size. I also got the steak tacos, the cilantro makes it delicious! I would do less sour cream and the salsa added was so good. Gave it a tang.

This place is exactly as it is named, it is ran by THE one and only Hot Dog Man. Amazing food, extremely quick, great atmosphere, and his son provided live entertainment. Come on, tell me a better place to stop for some a break and some fast food on your travels in this area.

Just updating, I have screenshots of this guy saying outlandish things. He also changed his response to me. Which I also have screenshots of. I’m a huge fan of small businesses but this guy is not well. All I really said was show your actual prices. You can easily change them with a marker. Good luck to you. I hope you receive some mental help.
The prices shown on the facebook page and the pictures on Google are NOT accurate. When you address these issues with the owner, he rants about Trump instead of updating his prices. The food was good, don’t get me wrong, but after the owner responded to a friend of mine after we visited is unacceptable. A business person who says the things he said, shouldn’t be in business. He also has a child play drums while we were waiting for our order, as the owner cussed when he dropped multiple things as he was making food. This really could have been a great establishment if he wasn’t running it. Maybe instead of having a child play drums, you teach him how to help with orders. Lesson learned. Never going again.

I walked into the place having never even noticing the place before to some kid just wailing on his drum set while I think it was the owner of the place made me some badass food like a bartender kinda.. You’d have to have an eating disorder or something to dislike the food here
