This one was a tough one for me. This place was tucked away and was obviously a local business so naturally I wanted to support them. Unfortunately, their menu offered things that they did not have the day we were there. If you only offer items on certain days please note that on your menu. This place was super tiny. However, I feel like they used the space well. Our server/host was not very pleasant. The food came out fast though. Also be careful because the prices listed on the menu I are not what you will get charged for. We showed up a little late but still well within lunch hours. All of our meals were over $20 but the menus listed them as around $13 as you can see in the pictures. The sauce on the ribs were good and the yams were very good. But the mac and cheese was way too salty and the cornbread very dry. Honestly, I can’t suggest this place unless you are in a bad way for BBQ.

Another amazing Mom and Pop restaurant. We had BBQ ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw, and corn bread. They treated us like long-lost friends! As a Green Bay Packers fan, I love a die hard stand tall fan…you MUST go see the mural!! They have local artists on the walls and support charities with raffles. Just a great experience!

Stopped in 7/9/19 and got the rib dinner. Service was good, food came out fast. Ribs were not good. I can only guess how long they sat. Edges were crispy/crunchy. Very small dollop of store bought slaw with paprika on to to make it fancy. Collard greens tasted out of a can, total mush. Then I was charged an additional $1.50 service fee because I didn’t use cash. $18 I wish I could get back… If you are serious about bbq, don’t go here.

the pulled pork at this place is INSANE. so flavorful and juicy. the rolls were great too! service was great, too. the man that owns this place is so sweet. just like the sweet tea! parking is close and we ate outside. our table was clean and well-shaded, too. the sidewalk in good shape, too, so if someone is using assistive tech they should be comfortable getting to their table.

We love to look for down home resturtants when traveling. This place far exceeded our expectations. The pulled pork was so yummy and the BEST potato salad ever! We sat outside and visited with the owners. Such nice people! If you are in the area make sure to stop in!

I put a 2 for the food only because of the proportions. Got the family chicken breast dinner for 4. The chicken was dry and the smoked flavor tasted like straight smoke. The beans tasted like they had cinnamon in them and it was very odd. Mac and cheese had a lot more than just Mac and cheese. Too much going on for it. None of us enjoyed our food. Wasn’t a fan of the BBQ sauce either. My opinion, it wasn’t good. I can’t say anything to the atmosphere, we ordered pickup.

Neat little place. I love trying new BBQ spots out so when I came to Butler I stopped here. Brisket was very good. You can tell they are actually cooking it unlike a lot of places you run into.
I don’t know how they make money. Their portion is larger than most and half the price I’m used to paying. I would definitely stop again, and I got some extra brisket and ribs to go.

What a nice place to dine. I had the pulled pork Hot BBQ with Mac & cheese, Cole slaw. It was the best I have ever had. The owner/staff were professional, friendly and helpful. I will be back to try the brisket, ribs and everything else on the menu. If you like BBQ you will not be disappointed.

I try to support local mom and pop shops. So we finally stopped and while walking up to the door, I notice a “cat ladies for Kamala” sign. I wanted to turn around right there, but we went in anyway. The man inside the very very very tiny space was a retired marine vet, so i thanked him for his service, and then asked who’s sign that was out there, and he said “me and my wife”. Again, I wanted to not give my money to Harris supporters, but my hubby ordered a rack anyway. I went outside to wait for him. The ribs were not smoked. We smoke very good ribs here at home, and those didn’t have a lick of smoke on them. The cornbread ws so dry you couldn’t swallow it. Never again. Horrible food.
