Greeted at entrance by smiley friendly associates, timely courteous service staff, food was exceptionally good. Portion sizes were perfect. Broiled fish was delicious, seasoning was right on point. Baked potato topped with green peppers & onions was tasty and well-sized. The dinner roll had a sweet Hawaiian flavor, nice touch AND the chicken dumpling soup was just like my Mom’s – made from scratch!

The food was fantastic, the portions were quite large, 1 free soda refill (if I remember correctly) and, my personal favorite thing food-wise was that the lettuce, onions, and tomato toppings for my burger were left off to the side so I was more easily able to select what I did and didn’t want on it. He got a chicken wrap(pictured). The soup, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and fried pickle coins were delicious as well. Service was good, and restaurant was clean and welcoming. We absolutely want to go back.

I ordered the 8 oz New York steak and I guess their steak is a hamburger patty. Was way too much pepper on it and was really dry on the outside probably because of the pepper. It did come to me in medium rare, but was really wanting a steak. The mashed potatoes were cold and came with mediocre green beans. I think their breakfast may be better than their dinner, but depends on how you like your food and what you are used to. I normally stay away from family restaurants, but was late and didn’t want to drive further for a meal. Family restaurants tend to have decent breakfasts from my experiences.

My husband & I had the best experience at Wheaton Family restaurant! Our server Brady was very accommodating. He greeted us with a smile and was very social able. The Philly was hands down the BEST Philly we ever had! We hope to visit again soon!

It was the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We got totally forgotten, didn’t even get drinks, until we told them that we haven’t had service yet. I was totally in shock about how bad it was, because they had plenty of waitresses.
Their food was good, but it barely made up for anything. My portion was smaller than I thought it would be but it tasted very good.

Went here for the first time for breakfast. Portion size is large, pricing is great. I had the Hunters omelet and ordered breakfast potatoes but got hash browns ( simple mistake and no worries on my side) and my omelet was amazing. I do wish they would cook the hash browns a little longer (personal preference) and maybe a little seasoning (again personal preference). Husband had the corn beef hash omelet and was satisfied with his meal also- great flavor and portion size. Two people was $40 and well worth it. We will absolutely be back
