⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely worth the drive — I’d say these cheeseburgers are hands-down the best in the state! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Mug has that classic hometown feel with amazing food to match. If you haven’t been yet, make your way to The Mug — you won’t regret it! We’ll definitely be back!

So I’ve been twice the first time it was good. The second time I also got the $55 meal. The meal would feed about 3 adults. There was pieces of cartilage in the pulled pork, the brisket was fatty and in one bite of the pulled chicken I had 5 small bones in it and was done. I’ve been all over for food and was hoping this one was good since it was close to home but I won’t be back.

Cool little place next to the park and pool. Tenderloin was excellent. It was meaty inside. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the picnic table. Looks like you could also set in your car and order. They had a menu and speaker at each parking spot…

Nice drive-in. Portions are honorable for the price charged. Food is good. With the sloppy joe, it wasn’t sloppy. Nice sweet taste. The garlic fries were different. I’m used to garlic powder. This had minced garlic. 🙂 Chicken sandwich… meat was cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese… good. Happy.

This place was a great find for my husband and me. The food and service were equally outstanding. I love that their meats are sourced locally. Everything on the menu sounded good, but my husband opted for the breaded tenderloin and onion rings. I got the jalapeno cream cheese bacon burger and the garlic parmesan fries. I even got a root beer float that tasted like childhood. We couldn’t finish everything,
so we look forward to enjoying our leftovers. Absolutely scrumptious. Highly recommend. 45 minutes from home, but no problem. We will be back.

The trip north led me to The Mug specifically for a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. This place didn’t disappoint!! Talking with the waitress, she said that they locally sourced the pork and had cut and prepare the tenderloins onsite. If I lived here, I would make multiple visits per week.

The food here is amazing and is local. We all tried the pulled pork fries with coleslaw. So tasty! I also got to try the caramel cookie dough shake. Definitely recommend! Their BBQ sauce is so good, I wish they would bottle it and sell it.

This was a fun place to go i came awile ago but i am reviewingit now. I enjoyed it very much. The staff was very kind and even gave me extra napkins. The food was very good they did put pickles and cheese on my burger I asked for a burger with only 2 things on it but they added these also I asked for ketchup on it but they put their mug sauce on it. But all of this went out the window when I took a bite it was very scrumptious I loved it more than my normal order. I also got fries and a milkshake I of course diped them in there. They have sweet potato fries and normal fries, the normal fries are less crispy than the sweet potato fries but still good.the burger was the best it was like a smash burger. They have their own special sauce its called mug sauce when you come order it in a little sauce container. It tastes like warm peppers (not hot) with BBQ sauce

Decided to give this a try on Doordash. All sauces have to be purchased separately which is the first issue. Getting to the food, the brisket was either all fat or completely dry. Driest chicken I’ve had at any BBQ place. Pulled pork has decent flavor. Mac and Cheese could win a competition for the worst attempt at mac and cheese, it was thick noodles in a watery tasteless soup. Absolutely no flavor or seasoning. The corn casserole wasn’t awful, but needs some seasoning to keep it from being bland. I was hoping that the sweet potato pie would save the evening, until I open it up and see they swapped the pie for sweet potato fries. Overall will never recommend this place to anyone unless you already can’t taste anything, perfect COVID food. Awful attempt for BBQ across the board

Have been here too many times to count. This year seems a little different. I usually go for the breaded tenderloin and onion rings. The tenderloin was smaller than normal. Onion rings are thick on breading. The taste of everything was average. I would recommend the burger too. I’ll keep coming back just because of the simple fact that this is a historic root beer stand in Greenfield. They will serve you in your car but I prefer to sit at their outdoor tables.
