Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwhiches with no pickles or tomato…add green chilie and bacon. The receipt said the same. Sandwhiches not only had none of the bacon or green chilie which they charged $5+ for…but it had pickles and tomato. The kicker that pissed me off enough to write a review was how slopped together the actual sandwhich was…
Go almost anywhere else in Taos and you can get better fast-food…even McDonalds is better!
Photos sadly were thought about after half the sauce was mopped off…

We recently stopped in to eat at this location. Whataburger has always been one of my favorite places for a good burger, but this visit was disappointing. As soon as we walked in, we were met with a sign listing five menu items that were unavailable due to lack of inventory. The employee at the counter mentioned he was about to add even more items to that list and also warned us that the wait time for an order would be about 25 minutes—even though the restaurant was completely empty.
I truly hope the owner takes action to turn things around. Right now, this location is not living up to Whataburger’s reputation and is putting the brand’s good name at risk.

Ordered our food and it was incomplete and done incorrectly but Davin Lee went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience including re making the order. Stress from traveling and incorrect food would have been the worst but Davin showed what Whataburger stands for and mind you we are from Texas.

Breanna K was friendly from the get go. She was watching out the window, from behind the counter to assure I can in safety. There was a man outside apparently on drugs. She took my order. Repeating it back to assure she hear me. Delivered it to my table. Noted I had forgotten napkins, provide
D me with some. Another lady, my age, 60s, offered her a tip. She refused, stating it was not allowed. Breanna K was efficient, thoughtful, and constantly taking care of the store’s needs.
Taos Burger King, Breanna K. IS A KEEPER.

Great first experience!
This was my first time trying Whataburger, and everything went smoothly. The staff was incredibly patient and knowledgeable while I was looking over the menu. I really appreciated that they even offered suggestions on ways to save a little money on my order.
The service was fast, and the food was good—it definitely hit the spot. Thumbs up!

Initially surprised a Whataburger even existed, and so we decided to place an order on our way to Taos Ski Valley! Being from Texas (specifically San Antonio, where WB headquarters is), we were prepared that NM may just not have the “special sauce” and touch as they do in Texas, but we were pleasantly surprised! Our order, our chicken, our Patty Melt, the fries, and the shakes were EXCELLENT! Greatly exceeded our expectations. Only recommendation my wife has is that they need to offer the chicken bites in New Mexico like they do in Texas. Overall we were very satisfied with this New Mexico Whataburger!

Ordered from here 08/14 around 8PM. It took almost 30min to get our food with only 5 cars in front of us so service was a little slow. The girl who took our order sounded new so that’s whatever, what matters is that she was very nice. But if yall don’t know how to make a burger lettuce wrapped when requested please just ask. We ordered the #7 meal and it was okay. We got the #11 lettuce wrapped and all they did was dump the ingredients in a plastic bin like a salad…so I’m supposed to make the burger myself I guess. Same with the #2…lettuce wrapped and asked for cheese, they made it like a salad and didn’t even give me the cheese which was $2 to add. The fries for every meal tasted like they had been sitting there since before we ordered so pretty old. This was our first time trying whataburger and what a disappointment it was! Yall have over 4 stars so we were excited to try, but it seems it depends who is working and in charge. Given that it was only 8pm is really disappointing given the quality in food we ate. I only took one picture cus my partner had to take the time to make his #2 without the cheese he ordered. Hope yall can do better for the next customer.

Terrible, terrible service. First we were ordering for 13 people, we placed an order online about 20 minutes in advance. We got to the curbside spot and waited for another 15 minutes, and no one came out. After going inside they informed us that they were out of soda cups, no one got their drinks. They then proceeded to give us sauces in drink cups(which they were supposedly out of) and we left with no drinks. We get home to discover we are missing at least two meals and majority of the meals we do have are messed up. This was disgraceful.

Staff is very professional. Restaurant is spotless. Food was great. The service here is by far the best service I’ve experienced at any Whataburger I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend you eating here. I will definitely be back
