We were so excited when this location opened only to be disappointed time and time again. We’ve tried this whataburger multiple times hoping they would eventually provide better service and it’s just not there. We always have to wait at least 20 minutes for our food when there’s only 1-2 cars ahead of us. Our food is always cold and the fries are always soggy. The last straw was when I ordered a large fry with my meal and they gave it to me cold and half filled. We tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately the service and quality just isn’t there at this location.

Ummmmm why even bother? Showed up 6 minutes after my online order was supposed to be done and stood at the counter for a while, lobby was empty and two cars in the drive thru and one guy at a table eating. I waited for a while for someone to walk the pick up counter. A few minutes later another big family walks in and someone comes to the counter to help them but I don’t even get eye contact so I asked to be helped since I had been waiting. She was obviously displeased with me even though the family said they weren’t ready to order yet. A couple more minutes and they are still assembling my meal and I don’t mind but then I get the source of her attitude- the way the manager was speaking to her while she was trying to help me was unacceptable. Speaking down to her like she was stupid and in the way. And my sandwhich was slimy but my break was over so I couldn’t go back and ask for an edible sandwich. We ordered pizza instead.

Halloween night I sat in the drive thru for over an hour. Entered thr line at 1:55am and left at 3:10am. The 2 staff members worked amazingly and as fast as they could. But it clear that management is not doing their job. The management is not staffing adequately and letting their staff down. It seems that management needs to be re-trained or replaced.

This sign is indicative of management not understanding of their own staff. This sign might be true, but it shows a lack of care and respect for their staff. I would say that this location needs a change of upper management that respects their own staff.

They always seem to mess up my order. Under or over cooked. I really hate this Whataburger location. Employees seem to always have a bad attitude and never know what they are doing.

This location still has a lot of work to do on training staff, management, getting orders correct, getting orders out in a timely manner, and hot and fresh. I had hoped it would improve after several months of being open and getting established, but we are constantly disappointed every time. Our order always takes 20 mins to prepare, and if you order online, get ready to wait well past the time that app says your order should be ready. Something is always missing and/or is incorrect on our order. Today I received a burger with zero toppings, when I actually added extra toppings along with the traditional toppings. The employees are polite, trying their best, and visibly stressed, but this comes down to lack of thorough training and poor management.

We have been to this location multiple times and every time we have been disappointed. Things made wrong a couple times and EVERYTIME things missing from our order. Usually multiple things. This particular time they gave us our meals without the fries and without the cookie we ordered.
Not sure why this location can’t figure out to check the bags before they hand them to the customers. We will go out of our way to go to another place.

Hi there,
I just wanted to share some honest feedback about my recent visit to your Albuquerque Whataburger. The staff was friendly and polite — truly great service all around — but waiting 25 minutes for a kid’s meal was absolutely ridiculous.
It’s hard to understand how something that simple could take so long, especially when the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. Watching my kid get hungrier (and crankier) by the minute really took away from what should’ve been a quick, easy stop.
I appreciate the team’s effort, but please take a serious look at your kitchen timing and process. If this is “fast food,” something’s seriously off.

I went to those Whataburger very late at night after picking someone up for the airport. The line was very short, but it was around midnight to 1:00 a.m. so I’m sure they had a lot of orders coming in. The service was slightly slow, but it was exceptional and the staff was very nice for serving food at such a late hour. I still highly recommend for anyone who might need a late night snack or dinner after picking someone up from the airport.

I timed my drive-through experience from start to finish at 40 minutes. 40 minutes for a couple of burgers and drinks. Pathetic. Whoever was working on January 19 at midnight, You should fire that crew they deserve it.
