It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I order from this location, or Whataburger in general. This location has messed my order too many times to count. I wish I could say the food is good enough to come back, but it just isn’t.

I placed a mobile order for a pancake platter, sausage patty, and added bacon. My wife ordered a breakfast burger and an iced coffee. When we got the food, we didn’t have our iced coffee (almost $5), and they didn’t put the additional bacon I added ($2).

One error on one order is one thing, but I’m not kidding when I say our order here has been messed up 5-6 times. Also, the pancakes were an inch thick and not cooked fully (see attached picture). My wife’s burger had a weird looking warped patty, an egg that was burnt and under cooked (how!?). It was extremely greasy and the cheese was half melted, half cold.

I feel like food order errors are increasingly happening to me, and from reviews at this and other places, happening to a lot of other customers. You’ve raised the prizes on everything, shrunk the sizes down, and we can’t get an accurate order. Why would I come back?

My dog spit it out. What more can I say?

The place wasn’t at all busy, plenty of employees, yet I still waited over a minute for someone to come to the counter and take my order.

No apology for the wait, no polite hello, not even eye contact. And this from the lady who is allegedly a trainer.

Even the manager didn’t apologize or make eye contact when he handed me food.

I finally get my order and I’d rather eat hospital food. The bun was equal parts stale and soggy. Unevenly toasted. The burger was thin, severely overcooked, lukewarm, the cheese was plastic. Completely bland

The fries were by far the worst I’ve ever had from a fast food place. Store brand freezer fries are better. They were stale, barely heated, rubbery, no salt to speak of

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the place was clean and the shake was ‘ok’

Don’t go here, this place completely put me off of Whataburger

Picture says enough. Everyone in there was really nice and polite, but this is not okay. They made me a new sandwich and threw a couple extra goodies in the bag, but this is so dangerous. I had two chicken sandwiches in my order, and only one was like this. I was too exhausted after work to even cause half of the scene i should’ve over this, will not return.

This was our first time trying whataburger. Burger was delicious, the bun I feel was over toasted though. If you don’t like mustard then ask for less mustard because that’s the only sauce in the burger so I got ketchup in the side and added that on. Everything tasted fresh!

I ordered a chicken box and got no chicken? How does that happen? They handed me a BAG with my spilled drinks in it. The whole order is messed up. I understand the lunch rush gets packed but you still have to make sure each order is taken care of correctly. Training is really important for all employees. Really disappointed in their lack of effort to take care of the customer. Waste of time, food, and money.

Went in to get my order fixed and they gave me my old fries box back with the fresh chicken in it.

Went around 1:30pm today to order food. It has been awhile since we have eaten Whataburger. The girl taking orders in the drive thru was rude and impatient.
No one was in line so no idea where the attitude came from.
Irritated that I asked a moment to figure out what I wanted. Yelled she couldn’t hear me. The last straw was while I was ordering she said tell me when your ready then huffed through the speaker.
Rude and unfriendly the moment I pulled up to order. My 15 year old even was shocked.
I just left. Won’t be back to this location with that kind of service.

This was just…ok. The bread tasted stale and the burger was very heavy on the mustard definitely doesn’t make it too the fav burger list. Maybe that’s their signature but can’t say I liked it. The fries were fresh and yummy. And I love their sauces and shakes. For a late night snack if this was my only option, I’d stick to the chicken or maybe try something else all together ‍♀️.

Been here for 2 years. I can’t tell you how much I missed Whataburger. Finally decided to dine in, so we could give y’all some pics and show off this awesome location. ANYONE that says it doesn’t taste like Texas is a lying sack. Everytime I try a new burger place, I get a double, no cheese, so I can taste the quality of the meat. Colorado Whataburger is the same quality. People just like to complain now.

The employees here are very friendly, and keep the place hospital clean. The Hatch Chili burger was on point. The Bacon burger is delicious as always. Can’t wait to go back!

Ordered a chicken sandwich and the lettuce looks like it would make you sick. I have ordered here with no problems before, but this is disgusting. Go to Chic-fil-a next door for your sandwich

What does a fresh head of lettuce cost – 50 cents?

Calling through Whataburger customer service was basically “thank you for the report, bye”. We drove across town to eat so we can’t even easily get a new sandwich made, and then you run the risk of the workers intentionally screwing your food up when you want it made right anyways.

Screw getting food we paid for, even though the burgers are expensive, right? Disgusting and ridiculous waste just to save 5 cents.

When I went for lunch today I tried to order a grilled chicken sandwich but wasvdischarge from the guy taking my order. So I changed to a whataburger with cheese. The wait was about 20 minutes and the reason the guy taking my order discharge me from getting the grilled chicken sandwich was because it was going to take 8 minutes to grill. When they took my payment they apologized for the wait and said they were giving us cookie. At the time I made my payment I asked for ketchup and he said yes he would put extra ketchup. When I received my food there was no ketchup, cookies, and the cheese on my burger wasn’t even cooked. I ened up going to Birdcall after because the burger looked disgusting. I should know by now not to go to this whataburger because they get something wrong every time I go.
