OMG! From the moment we arrived, it was nothing but a great experience! Our server was one of my best I’ve had in a long tine. He was very helpful with recommendations and was on top of our needs! The food, lets just say, I had NO leftovers, it was just so amazingly good, my drinks were phenomenal, and I can’t wait to go back!

Having loved my previous visit with friends, I was thrilled to return with my husband, and he enjoyed it just as much! We were seated almost immediately upon arrival and were happily accommodated with an outdoor table on such a lovely, breezy day.
Our waiter offered excellent recommendations, and the servers were prompt in bringing out our dishes. The entire staff was professional, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Most importantly, the food was outstanding, especially the dessert. And I can’t emphasize enough that the oysters are a must-try! I wholeheartedly recommend this place for any special occasion.

My son and I had a really nice meal at Black’s Bar & Kitchen in Bethesda. We ordered the Addie’s mussels and blackened chicken sandwiches with fries — everything was fresh and flavorful. The mussels were tender and came in a delicious broth, and the chicken sandwiches had a nice kick without being too spicy. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned.
The atmosphere was relaxed but upscale, and the staff was friendly and checked in just enough. It was a comfortable space to enjoy a meal and talk.

The raw oysters were a wonderful, fresh appetizer and were B1G1 for happy hour (I arrived at 5pm). My dinner entrée was blackened shrimp served over a bed of brussels sprouts and squash. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself has a beautiful, modern vibe with comfortable seating and elegant surroundings. The service was exceptional. My waiter was very attentive, and every employee in the restaurant seemed focused on providing a great dinning experience. Not a single dirty dish stayed on the table for more than a moment, and my drink never went dry. Every dish that passed my table looked wonderful. I would absolutely go back again and recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are in the area.

We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday evening in December prior to seeing a show at the Bethesda Theater. We looked on Google maps for something within walking distance of the hotel that served seafood. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by a bartender. We ordered a couple drinks and shared mussels and shrimp tacos. Everything was very good. That mussel sauce was delicious. The bartenders were very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively but not loud. Prices were comparable to other similar restaurants we have been to. I would come here again for sure.

Came here this past Saturday for dinner and had a great experience. Had prior reservations so we were seated right away, on the bar side at a high top.
For starters, would recommend the Crispy Shrimp Tacos (comes with 3 tacos) and the House Cornbread (or served as a side dish). For entrees, both the Pan Seared Day Boat Scallops and Grilled Blackened Chicken Sandwich (add guacamole and bacon) were delicious!! For desserts, the Chocolate Truffle Torte was okay—very chocolate-rich and thick texture.
I’ll have to come back again to try their other dishes!

I took my wife her to dinner to celebrate her birthday. The service was fine but the food was decidedly disappointing. Our scallops entrees were far too salty. And I paid $21 to have three terrible scallops added to my salad. No manager ever came to check on us so we never complained. Overall, the meal was too expensive for the quality of the preparation. We are unlikely to return.
