It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Our first Whataburger experience was good. The food was good… they did give us the wrong salad initially, but immediately fixed it. Boys said it reminds them of burger king… though better because of all the customizations.
The atmosphere was also good, minus a rough looking couple that was hanging around outside. Followed my girls and I into the bathroom and would not stop walking by and making comments while we were eating. Just be cautious if you come to this location, they could be harmless, but better safe then sorry, my mom gut was not feeling it.

I just love the freshness of the burgers. The workers are also polite and tend to the needs of the customers. Overall it’s a great place to come get a meal and relax a little while. Breakfast was okay, I much rather the lunch meals. OH FOR NOW AT LEAST, Monday through Thursday, kids meals are free when you buy a meal for self. Great since it’s my kiddo and I.

10000 starts to Andrew for his amazing customer service!!! This location is the best in El Paso! Every time I stop by the customer service is always top notch whether it’s a mobile order or ordering in person, the employees are always happy and pleasant to speak with and my order is ALWAYS correct. Tonight, I messed up by ordering on the app to the wrong location (west side) and the other location was of no help with canceling the order and I was already minutes away from this location. I had just gotten out of a 10 hour shift and just wanted to get home. I explained the situation once I got there and the lady I spoke with was great then Andrew helped process my order and they were both just wonderful! And service was quick and correct despite them being busy, as always!!!

I’m really disappointed with my experience at this Whataburger location. Not only did they give me the wrong order, but the employee at the drive thru was extremely unprofessional.
The employee who assisted me, Kayleen, gave me a lot of attitude. When I politely asked for ketchup, she laughed and closed the drive thru window on me twice while I was still speaking. It felt very dismissive and disrespectful.
I understand mistakes happen, but how they’re handled makes all the difference. I expect better customer service and professionalism, especially for something as simple as asking for condiments. I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

Got a burger here, today. Everything was fresh and, even though a mistake was made over my order from both the cashier and me, it was resolved quickly and I still got everything I wanted. Good staff, clean over all. 10/10, Compared to the one in North Yarbrough.

I ordered the good ole green chili double however, they forgot the green chili. Also one of the order of large onion rings was half full. Miguel mentioned to bring in the receipt in to get another meal. Thanks Miguel.

The service here has gotten so bad and they don’t pay attention to curbside orders at all anymore. This is the 4th time I come and have to go inside for someone to act lost and confused, only for them to find my order just sitting there, now cold. Apparently they didn’t have an employee available the last few times despite several of them literally standing around talking to each other right in front of everyone

Great customer service! While they didn’t technically mess up my order, through a small mistake in how they put it all together, a misunderstanding occured with my friends regarding whose food was what. When I went back and explained the situation, they went above and beyond and made a replacement burger free of charge!
