Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered through the drive thru. Young man at the window would not wipe the soda off of our drinks. Then when I asked for ketchup he gave me 1 for a number 1 and a number 2 meals both with fries. I had to pull forward amd when I asked for more ketchup he pretended to not hear us and he said im having a hard time hearing you and walked away. I asked for manager he replied they’re inside and still didnt get me ketchup or napkins. I walked to the drive thru and asked for ketchup and he threw the one I gave him back angrily in the trash can and said to move away from the vehicles. I thought he would bring me ketchup as I waited in the drive thru line. I went inside spoke with the manager and explained the issues and bad customer service to her. She said she would have a talk with him and thanked me for bringing it to her attention. If that young man doesnt like working in the food industry and getting customers what they want while being aggressive and rude to customers you should definitely get rid of him and get the tall girl with the long nails a raise. She knows customer service. He just had a tantrum and it showed. He doesnt need to be there in the first place. Have some respect for yourself and the company you work for. We were never rude with our requests,we said please and thank you for each one. Leave customer service jobs for those who can do it right. Ultimately the food was great! Hopefully next time we will have a better experience. And i really hope that the manager doesnt just overlook his intentional rude behavior because i dont want anyone else to go through what we did. AMAZING customer service. Clean & fast ordering inside or drive thru. TWO folks check in on us while we were eating. Open 24/7 and breakfast until 11am!! Don’t skip the Mexican Hot Chocolate Shake ($3.5 for a small).

The food is good & very large portions. And the limited edition Mexican hot chocolate shake ($3.5 for a small) is Fantastic!!! Hatch green chili burger ($7.5) was great too (not too spicy). Monterey cheese burger with fajita toppings is $9.5 and worth it.

This Whataburger consistently messes up drive-thru orders, by leaving out food items. This isn’t an occasional mistake — it happens regularly. Order accuracy is a basic expectation, and the repeated errors suggest a lack of proper training, attention, or lack of supervision. Customers shouldn’t have to return to the store to receive items they already paid for. I like Whataburger, but this location seriously needs to address employee training and accountability. Managers do your jobs!!!

Wow, this was probably the worst Whataburger we’ve been to in the last 15 years. The fries were burnt and looked as if they had been laying around the fryer for some time. The chicken strips were cold and hard, there was no gravy in the box, no ketchup, and no napkins. I don’t know how any of their shift leaders could have not notice the quality of the products being given to customers. I really think their corporate office should audit the restaurant and their processes to ensure that they are performing to standards. I will never go back to this restaurant again and will continue to let people know about the horrible experience…. *** the only bright side was Candy, one of their cashiers… she was smiling, polite and respectful the entire time we were there. They should be thinking of promoting her as their shift leaders and staff might learn something from her. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and will be sure to forward the pictures of the food to the city so they can check if the products being served are up to standard.

We ordered 3 meal combos. All 3 of our large fries came in boxes fillee no more than 60%. Why offer a large size if you’re not going to fill it just so?
The 1 hamburger we ordered, we asked for a 2nd meat patty, and it didn’t make it to the sandwich. It’s probably still searing on the griddle as I type this out. 2 thumbs down.

I love Whataburger and want to love this one since it’s right around the corner from our house, but the drive-thru wait is always crazy and I don’t see any effort from employees to make it faster.

I waited 10 minutes for a single order of onion rings today, which seems excessive.

I spent almost $50 at this Whataburger and it was a complete disaster. I repeated my order three times, especially for my drink I asked for half sweet tea and half lemonade, but all I got was plain tea. On top of that, I was missing a set of fries.
When I went to pick up my order, the guy who gave me my food yelled at me rudely, just saying “here” with no manners. I also always see employees on their phones, playing around, not paying attention to customers.
Ingrid really needs to get this location under control. This Whataburger has been a mess for too long. Train your staff better!

Just stopped for drinks. Husband ordered an unsweet tea Arnold palmer (half unsweet tea/half zero sugar lemonade) since he is diabetic. The order was repeated back multiple times to us (at least 3). When he took a drink, it was sweet tea instead of unsweetened tea.
