This Whataburger close to the university of Texas Tech, had some good food and shakes and drinks. But unfortunately, the customer service is so God awfully horrendously BAD that I had to wait for my order for 2 HOURS to get my shake food, especially i finally had to ask them and spoked up on my order at 2:10AM, and they finally listed, after serving a bunch of college kids trying to get their orders as fast as possible after ignoring me for 2 hours.
This is a very bad customer service, especially, on the cashiers and management, more than just the workers.
The only thing that saves Whataburger restaurant from a one star review is the food and the tradition of Texas Tech.
I will report this, and I’m never going to come back here ever again, until something’s change. ☹️

Came in this morning to grab a little breakfast and get some work done before starting my Monday. As always, the breakfast was fantastic and the service was even better.
Jazmine took great care of me — she stopped by to check on me and even offered free refills on my coffee, which was much appreciated! That kind of extra attention really makes a difference.
I love the coffee here, I love the food here, and I highly recommend this Whataburger. Great way to start the week!

I recently had stopped at another Whataburger here in town. When I got home my order was wrong, and not cooked all the way. I called up to the Whataburger on 9th (due to it being the closest to my house). Paul was so friendly and took care of it for me. Even though his store did not serve me the food he remade my order for me. Everyone inside was so kind. I even left with an extra fry. Great customer service!!

This is the easily the most incompetent Whataburger I’ve ever frequented. It seems impossible for them to get orders right, they regularly and consistently leave ingredients out and forget things.
I’ve also never been impressed by the cleanliness of this location.
It’s worth it to go to the Whataburger at 4th street and Loop 289. Much better food and service.

We went into Whataburger today for lunch. We were greeted by the manager who was really kind. The restaurant was very clean and there were plenty of folks working and ready to assist customers. As we walked in the manager gave us a free card to try the pico de gallo hamburger for free. It’s a $10 hamburger so I said sure! Thank you. So I ordered my hamburger and fries and a Coke. Then he also asked us if we would like to try the new prickly pear raspberry lemonade. Y’all, this is an upcoming drink that will be sold I believe starting in July. I showed you pictures. However it is so good and refreshing! It has little pieces of chopped up raspberries on the top. It will be perfect for a hot summer West Texas day. I highly recommend this particular Whataburger as they seem to be very focused on how they can serve their customers. Every time I go in there they are customer centered. I highly recommend this particular Whataburger across from Texas Tech University and thank them for their kindness today.

We placed a order it wasn’t made the way we asked for on the Whataburger online app. I called talked to Joshua he was very professional and so quick to want to make it right. I don’t think it is right for me to get mad and all that because we all make mistakes and THEY ARE HANDLING OUR FOOD. It happens. I went the next day and he came out took my receipt and corrected the order. So thank you JOSHUA AND ALL THE STAFF. I HAVE HAD THE PROBLEMS AT BRAUMS AND THE MANAGER DIDNT EVEN OFFER TO REPLACE THE MEAL.

11:45. I door dash, needed to pick up 2 orders. An employee with no name tag who goes by Q refused to give me his name gave me the hardest time. Would not confirm if there were drinks, wanted to use my phone to complete the order. Completely unprofessional and pathetic. Laughing in my face trying to draw out the interaction. I can’t give 0 stars. But horrible.we waited 20 min for our food. The food was cold. They just threw it together. Rude. Another customer asked for cheese on his burger they didn’t put cheese instead of making it right they just gave him a piece of cheese. I will not be comming back to this one! Oh and the cashier literally told us there is a lot of stupid people…
