Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

2/13/2024 +(***) I been Testing them out last few months and WOW THEY HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY ON point down to each detail on my complicated burger but thank you guys LOVE LOVE LOVE in and out LMFAO YEAH RIGHT IN AND OUT IS Gross !!!! Whataburger is King LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE WHATABURGER!

-(*) Lobby could be detailed cleaned ALOT more throughout the day always dirty.

+(*) Friendly , Clean Outside and what I can see inside .
+(*) Taste of Burgers I MEAN DO I NEED TO SAY ! ♀️ ♀️ IT’S Whataburger of COURSE its Delicious ! 10 out 10 ALWAYS ON TASTE.
+(*) Sides Fries and Onion Rings are Delicious my Fav is Onion Rings Yummmmmmmmmm! 10 out 10
-+(*) I HAVE NOT Gotten any Sweets at this Location but when I try a few things I will update . And update star rating.
-(*) when i ordered i said whatasize Onion rings on both combos But was only charged for 1 upgrade GRANTED i was not charged so i received med but my fault i should asked her to repeat order . She rang up Grilled Jalipeno they where Not grilled 🙁 and the bacon need more cooking was pretty Flappy not my fav style of bacon just 10 sec more on each side but all in all loose a star -(*) for 3 errors . But my Wife made alot of alterations on her burger and it was perfect . So that is definitely still appropriated.
(-) Chicken sandwich I rate 4 out 10 it was tough like it was not tenderize where ever its processed . But I might give the Chicken Sandwich a 2nd try.
But I will Be back and I will update review .

Food is always great. However. I have never once got my food quickly. Today I sat in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes. I don’t understand how it ALWAYS takes forever at this particular place. Food is great however !

Passing through Hondo on a road trip and found this gem of a Whataburger. Absolutely delicious and friendly service. I couldn’t have asked for a better Whataburger experience. This is what Texas is all about.

Do yourself a favor drive to the next town the employees here are incompetent and lazy. We asked for ketchup three times in a drive-thru, and got none. Had to walk inside and ask for it only to have the employee start doing other things rather than actually give us what we were asking for. There were three employees sitting in the dining area waiting for their shift and no customers. Not one vehicle got serviced at the window we were asked to pull forward and three vehicles behind us were asked to pull forward. Their service times or atrocious go elsewhere. Your management sucks, there are no adults making sure employees were doing their jobs in a timely manner.

I have always gotten great food from Whataburger, however I always get a custom order. I brought a friend who ordered a burger all the way. The burger came out cold, not just cold but felt like it came out of refrigerator. When told, they did replace it without question. I can’t help but think if I would have gotten a cold burger going through drive thru. Unexceptable!
