Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Took advantage of current promotion. I had never tried their tacos . Don’t freak out when they tell you it’s going to be $7 per taco but if you are going to tell me I’m going to get either half or a whole breast I would say bring it,Lol.
If you start to think 2 tacos of grill chicken for $7 it’s not bad plus they are delicious plus if you like picante sauce, even better. Service was good and the atmosphere or surroundings clean since I went through the drive through. I’ll do it again 2×1 kudos!!

It felt very friendly and welcoming. Jerrel behind the counter was so kind, and so was Sharon who brought the food to our table. Nice to get cups of mayonnaise, and the burgers were real tasty.

We visited this Whataburger yesterday. It was very clean. The restrooms were very clean. We ordered the honey chicken breakfast sandwich. It was delicious. It was oozing with the honey sauce. Highly recommend. The lady at the counter was very nice and courteous. They bring your order to the table and they come armed with condiments to offer you.

Ordered a single burger (triple patty) on its own to try it out since I’m from the UK. I was the only person ordering at this time of night and my order still took 15 minutes to arrive. When it did, one of the patties was half missing as if someone took a huge bite out of it. Unacceptable. Got a refund and left disappointed. Never again, stick to In-n-Out!

I waited 30 minutes in line with only about 5 cars ahead of me. When i was given my order we were rushed out of the line without even being able to check our order before hand. When I checked my food I was given the wrong order and it was completely inedible. The lettuce was extremely wilted and I had to LITERALLY peel it off of the top bun, the chicken filet was practically dripping its coater off from being so soggy, the mayo on it smelled rancid, and it was hard as a rock.

My very first Whataburger experience was right here in Del Rio and it did not disappoint! I got the Whataburger Jr, a classic small cheeseburger, and munched on some fries. Great presentation, friendly and helpful service, and a clean environment for enjoying our meal. What a burger indeed!
