Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

After coming home from vacation tired and hungry. A stressful day sitting in a plane for over an hour on the Tarmac due to no Flight Controllers at Austin cause of the government shutdown. We needed some Texas comfort food. The ordering was fine all though we asked for 2 small shakes and got 1 Large. Had to wait awhile to get our food it wasn’t a big order 3 meals with shakes. The meat patties were over seasoned,spicy chicken sandwiches was not spicy just regular chicken, fries were under done, the 2 strawberry shakes were not blended and way tooooo much strawberry flavoring. They were inedible! I’m extremely disappointed. Whataburger has always been a staple in our home, but after last night we will not be visiting this location any longer. General Manager please retrain your evening teen staff.

There was a young black man with pink or red tips in his hair at the window. Who was very nice, very kind and gave great customer service. It’s been a really long time since I’ve had someone who was as nice as him. The woman who took my order was also very kind and did a great job trying to upsell.

recently visited this Whataburger and had a rather frustrating experience. The process felt quite slow, especially when using a coupon for a buy-two-medium combo (drink and fries) that included free chicken strips. It took about five minutes because the staff member at the counter wasn’t familiar with how to process it. To make matters worse, it ended up costing me about $2 more than if I had ordered online, since online checkout was closed and I had to do curbside inside.
Additionally, when I asked for gravy instead of barbecue sauce, the staff member wasn’t sure if that was possible and took extra time chatting with his team instead of getting the gravy. By the time I received it, the gravy was lukewarm rather than hot. Overall, it seemed like the front staff could use more training. Hopefully, they’ll improve the service in the future.

Wanted some food before my flight but they refused to serve me. They put a cone on the lane AFTER I was already in it, served everyone in front of me then gave me attitude on the speaker before I could even explain myself. Extremely inconsiderate, it was the only thing open that early in the morning.

I have eaten here in the morning and the afternoon, lemme tell you, the morning shift and afternoon shift is completely different. Morning shift I hear yelling in the kitchen, sounds like fighting or struggling. The food takes so long to take out and the hospitality is horrible. In the afternoon, there’s this kid that works the front cashier usually, he’s incredibly welcoming and greeted me by my name “how are you doing today Joseph”. The lobby was so clean, bathrooms clean, it felt good to eat there. The food came out fast and hot, fresh fries. Who doesnt love fresh fries!!

Its a whataburger some times great crew other times new or dont care but as of late its been a good place to dine . Its by the airport u can litterly walk to the airport front door .it also has a convenience store and a gas and parking peole waiting for arriving guests

I have NO idea why people are so obsessed over Whataburger. I had what was probably the worst hamburger that I have had in a very long time! The bun was somewhat dried out and the meat and condiments had a bad taste. Just not good. I had tried Whataburger a couple of months ago. It was okay, and that is all. Definitely not great. So I was in a rush and thought alright I will try them again. Sorry, just not at all impressed.
