It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My order did not come as placed. There was barely any bacon on the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger Whatameal®. none of the buns were toasted. the #7 Whataburger Jr.® was supposed to have lettuce and tomatoes but sadly did not. The food was cold and the drinks were watered down. The #1 Whataburger® Whatameal® was soggy to touch. This experience was a let down. The only thing that was good was the Hot Apple Pies, but even that wasnt hot and fresh.

Stopped by after work and halfway thru my sandwich the chicken felt rubbery. It was raw. It was 11:00pm not even busy. Just go anywhere else or any other location. Always an issue with this location and this is the last straw.

Just need to try the Texas famous fast food joint. The service is excellent, but that is not important. The burger taste is a bit below In-N-Out and also the bun is way bigger than the patty.

Placed an order using the app for drive thru pickup. It took 30 MINUTES from the speaker box to receive the food. 30 MINUTES! Nothing fast about this fast food place. To top it off, no apology for the wait. When I asked for an extra ketchup, she said it wasn’t on her screen so she couldn’t give any more out. Like she’s the ketchup police. They also didn’t put napkins in the bag and the large fries was 3/4 full so essentially a medium. Don’t waste your time coming to this location.

Jodie that works overnight is genuinely the most friendly hospitable Whataburger employee I’ve ever encountered. He’s made every experience I’ve had there a great one. Never gotten a wrong order from him ever. The man deserves a raise and promotion.

First at all.. this is my first time on this Whataburger located on Ben White and Manchaca St. And I really love it!!
After waiting for my turn on the drive thru..
The lady who took my order was so nice, friendly, fast, and professional…
When I got at the window, the guy who was dispatching did something. I got so surprised..
After he filled up my drink and lidded on HE STARTED TO CLEAN UP ALL THE SODA WAS OUT OF THE CUP!!!!

Got denied a refund because the gm wasn’t there even though they messed up my food. Also, their kitchen was disgusting. 20+ egg shells on the front end of their flat top. Every time I have called to talk to their “GM,” he’s never there, and I get told, “He will be here tomorrow.” I love whataburger, but this one is terrible. 1/100 would not recommend this location, btw I asked for a #1 with meat chz and pickles only, I got 0 cheese and 1 lone grilled onion. And the fries tasted old and bland bc well… look at the attached pics. Stay away untill under new maganment

Been several times, always disappointed. Wait Stafford doesn’t care about their customers. From the outside you think, wow, looks like a great place to eat. Don’t be fooled. We had to keep waving waitress over for this and that. It’s a bar with a restaurant. If I was local to Yorktown, I might get better service. Food always seems to be off. Salads are not fresh, prices are high for the lack of quality.

We got a chance to stop at Whataburger in Austin, TX for a late night bite. We ordered some Burgers, Fries, and a 3 Piece Chicken Tenders to split. The food was good and hit the spot for a late meal. We used the drive thru when we went, staff was nice and quick. The building and parking lot need a little cleaning.
