Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ok this Whataburger has the actual sweetest Whataburger employee I’ve ever met. This was insane because we just came from Chick-fil-a where the cashier there took their sweet time to get to us and then immediately flipped the sign from breakfast to lunch and told us breakfast is over at 10:30. Well, Whataburger has breakfast until 11, so we went there and were so surprised at how nice it was compared to Chick-fil-A, of all places!! We got a chicken biscuit hold the honey butter, hash browns, iced coffees, and pancakes for our toddler. It’s a really good deal.

This Whataburger sets the standard for what great service should look like. The managing partner is highly engaged in day-to-day operations, and it clearly shows in every aspect of the experience. The facility is consistently clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food quality is always on point.
This has been my go-to Whataburger for lunch every other Saturday for the past several years, and I can honestly say there has never been a bad visit. The consistency, execution, and customer focus make this location stand out above the rest.

More than just delicious food you’d expect, this team understands how to create a little bit of nostalgia. Right now, it’s all decorated so cute to match their festive personalities. Young Jared has learned early that genuineness in how to treat customers is always in style. A regular patron waved to Debbie as he was leaving and she told him, “Be careful.” I caught his grin, and it reminded me of my grandmother leaving her last rule of love whenever I’d leave to go anywhere way back when. On the way home, my husband shared that it’s always like that, and it’s why he stops in to that particular location so often. Thanks for a lovely moment in what it felt like at hamburger spots in my small town growing up. Merry Christmas.

This store has a very friendly staff. Emmy was great and service was quick. This store is clean. Food was up to the standard that is expected at every Whataburger. I go in many of their locations, I could be a shopper for corporate.
