The service was great, the food not so much. The price, well it’s Whataburger! Always been a little more than other fast food joints. We were excited to visit this location. Knowing it had just recently opened we eagerly wanted to give it a whirl. Well the food as I said wasn’t up to par. So disappointing, since it is the only reason for coming here. Not sure if it’s lack of cohesiveness and attentiveness or just old product but the breakfast we had including the coffee sorry guys it was not good. Do better be better and we’re all good. Well try again another day when we’re faced with no other choice. Open 24 hours, so might be sooner than later. I gave 2 stars generously for the food. 5 stars for the service and 5 stars for the atmosphere.

Basically impossible to get service at the counter, it took about 5 minutes for me to put in an order without a line in front of me. When I received my order undercooked fries with the wrong sandwich, while waiting for the correct sandwich I watched an elderly couple struggle for about 10 minutes to try and put in their order on the tablet because no one would take their order at the counter, basically all of the tables were dirty to some extent. Definitely not the best location.

I stopped by the Whataburger in Gonzales and was excited to check out the new location. The staff was friendly and the burgers came out hot and made-to-order. The fresh taste lived up to what I expect from Whataburger, and the updated layout seems promising.

I wasn’t able to order at their new location at the Chevron station in Gonzales Texas. The staff was completely uninterested in taking any orders at the front counter. I stood there, while everyone in the food prep area ignored the front counter even though we made eye contact.
The service at the old location was nothing to brag about, but it’s definitely gotten worse. When you can’t place an order, the restaurant becomes useless.
I would avoid this location all together. Don’t waste your time, money, or gas.

Very disappointing experience, Staff didn’t have any sort of idea what they were doing or process for getting food out. Employees in the lobby joking around while a long line of people waiting for their food. Re-evaluate your employees. waited over 30 minutes PAST the expected “ready” time on the app.
only employee that had any sort of care in the world was Joshua at the register.

SLOW…. So slow, which you’d expect from Whataburger at 1am when it’s packed but 11:15am on a Sunday? There were 15ppl in there max, including us and it took 20min for the food to come out. Apparently they’re still working the kinks out. Our order was also wrong.
