Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went today 2/2/26 @ 730pm not busy at all. One white truck ahead of me. they were pulled over waiting. I order Cobb salad which should be simple and fresh lettuce. And I had to wait as well. The lettuce was half bad and the chicken was not at temperature The container was greasy which was not nice because my hands were greasy. Won’t go again. I always go to the other one and its better customer service and quality is good. You never wait. Do better especially with chicken. I work late and wanted a meal near home and just a disappointment and waste of money. By the way didn’t spell my name correctly.

Went through the drive-thru at about 120am on our way home. There wasn’t a line which was great. Only 1 vehicle in front of us. They received their food pretty quickly. The young man working the drive-thru window (Michael S) was great. He was professional, funny, and quick. He was also very polite and carried on a conversation with us while we waited for our food. He was in good spirits and kept a smile on his face the entire time we were waiting for our food. I complimented him and told him that he made us feel comfortable getting our food from him. I knew I could trust him to get our order right and to add the condiments that we requested to our bag. He gave off a vibe that the employees who were working this early morning shift took their job seriously and they weren’t back there playing with our food. When visiting a restaurant this early in the morning I have experienced employees that are irritated. Ones that let you know through their tone that they hate their job and could care less about how you’re doing. They just don’t want to be at work. Not Michael!!! I could tell he was just a good employee.
The restaurant looked clean from what I could see from the window. Our order was exactly what we ordered. They were also quick to get our food out. If you’re ever in the area and need a late-night snack/meal be sure to stop in here and hopefully Michale S will be working.

I recently visited the Whataburger located at Williams Drive and Shell Road in Georgetown, TX, and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The food was not only fresh but also hit the spot perfectly. I thoroughly relished my meal, and it was made even better by sharing the experience with my brother, who was visiting from Alaska.
The iconic flavors of Whataburger were still intact at this location, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s always reassuring to find consistency in the quality and taste of the food, especially when it comes to a beloved establishment like Whataburger. Picked up and order – everyone including Cora in the front and even the janitor guy were super nice and friendly!! All the cooks were working hard and even shouting good morning to anyone coming in the door. I don’t eat here much but I would return due to great customer service!!!!

When I returned to Texas some years ago, I could not wait to stop in and enjoy a burger from WB. At the time I craved them…they were so good. My family accused me of being a food addict and maybe I am – lol.
Recently I stopped in and saw their Ad for Wings. I’d never tried them at WB but was in a hurry and ordered them. I’m pretty easy going but as I got my order (WB has always been slow) and about to drive off, I realized I had no dipping sauce. Now if you know me, I cannot eat wings w/o dipping sauce. Ranch is my choice. So I asked the person at the window if I could get a Ranch Dipping Sauce. He “Yea no problem” and then
added “that’ll be a dollar”. I said “Really” a dollar? Then what he said next was inexcusable. He said: “Yea everything has a cost”.
Man, how rude!!! It was his attitude. I paid the dollar and left.
And, I vowed right then that would be the last visit to ANY Whataburger. Ever! I don’t mind paying for food or service but the unshaven male employee was very rude. It will be a cold day in xxxx before I ever go back!!!

They do not wear hair nets, and makes me believe they don’t wash their hands. The operating manager argued that they wore hair nets but she was not wearing one…. Just careless! She gave me my money back

I really enjoyed myself at this location. The service was great. I have food allergies and the crew made sure I was taken care of. I ordered a delicious fish combo and my fiance ordered the cranberry salad. Shout out to the night crew at Whataburger. The food was good and the crew was awesome.
