I had a very disappointing experience at this location and wanted to share it in hopes that management will take a closer look at food quality and service.

I ordered an omelet with sausage, spinach, and roasted tomatoes, which came with pancakes, along with an orange juice. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles.

Unfortunately, several things went wrong during our visit.

First, my omelet arrived without the spinach because the server forgot to add it to the order. Even beyond that mistake, the omelet had very little filling. It contained about six small pieces of sausage (roughly the equivalent of two sausage links) and only a few tomato halves. I actually cut the omelet open at the table in front of the server and there was barely anything inside. For a dish that costs around $14, it felt extremely underfilled.

The cheese used also appeared to be pre-shredded cheese with anti-caking powder, which prevented it from melting properly inside the omelet.

The drinks were another issue. My orange juice tasted watered down, so I asked for apple juice instead. Unfortunately, the apple juice also tasted watered down and I didn’t finish it.

My wife’s meal had problems as well. Her waffle arrived cold, to the point that the butter wouldn’t even melt when spread on it. The chicken tenders looked like generic frozen tenders and appeared to be overcooked.

After I mentioned the missing spinach and the lack of filling in the omelet, the server gave a brief explanation but didn’t attempt to correct the dish or offer any solution. After that, he largely avoided our table until bringing the check. While I didn’t escalate the issue to a manager, I did express my dissatisfaction and was surprised that no attempt was made to correct the situation or offer any kind of service recovery.

Between the food quality, watered-down drinks, and lack of follow-up from staff, this was a very disappointing visit.

I took photos of the food and still have my receipt.

Check #: 272406803

I hope management reviews this because the experience did not match what customers should expect from IHOP.

I thought that the food and service here was great. My server was Dayane, and anytime I needed anything she was there for me. Drink was always replaced almost immediately, and I had frequent check-ins to make sure everything was good. The food was wonderful. I ordered the Sirloin Steak Tips & Crispy Shrimp. The sirloin tips come with mushrooms and onions. There was a great balance between the mushrooms and the onions – no more of one than the other. The steak was seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. The fries were nice and hot, and salted well. I did say to cook the steak rare, twice, but the request was not heard, clearly, from the ticket. Oh well! No big deal. It was still flavorful and tender anyways! The shrimp is where things go downhill just slightly. I feel like the shrimp could have been so much better, and more plentiful. 5 shrimp compared to the full serving of steak, when you’re paying for them both as a pair, seems a bit off-balance. The crispy mouth-scratching bread crumbing would be better off switched to a smooth tempura batter. Most of my complaints are within the purview of the corporation’s portioning and quality control area. The inidividual IHOP staff at this location did everything right. Table was clean. Silverware was clean (Trust me! I used to be a dishwasher for the company!) Floors were clean. Staff were respectable and in good appearance (uniform-wise). I appreciate everything this location did to make my stay enjoyable, and provide me with a nice breakfast after a long shift at work!

Wow. I’ve been to a lot of ihops even worked at one before but this place is terrible. The house was empty with about 3 open tables, 2 servers on the floor speed of service was dead, mind you was a little after 5:30 when I got there. We ordered, took more than 18 mins for steak tips entree she didn’t ask
How I like to cooked, but on the server receipt, she put medium well. My food came out just like burnt on one side and the steak was a little OK on the other side. It was. It was a rough meal to sit through. My mashed potatoes were super runny and wet And very buttery. For some reason when the picture doesn’t even look like how they served it to me it look like like go really my daughter’s food was not hot. It was like like mildly warm mice potatoes my mashed potatoes were cold. My steak was hot. My broccoli was cold of course it just was terrible. She came one time to ask us how we were. She didn’t ask us for any refill she didn’t ask us for anything further and condiments. Whatever nothing she left and we finished. We’re waiting for the bill. She comes back with the bill and it took forever for her to process my card for some reason she needed another server to for the receipt. I guess I’m not sure what was going on with that, but she took it to the kitchen and they were figuring some stuff out over there and it took so long that me and my daughter had to wait at the front of the restaurant Just to get the card and the receipt back. That was the most slowest service I’ve ever received on, especially on a dead day like you would think that the servers would be a little more nicer and kinder and faster on a slow day because that’s how they get their tips. I’m so ashamed of this IHOP that I’m at a loss for words like don’t don’t eat here. It’s so bad.

We had an amazing experience at IHOP during the night shift, thanks to Alexander! There were 7 of us, and he handled our big group so well. Even though it was late and busy, he stayed friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had everything they needed.

He kept our drinks filled, made sure all of our orders were correct, and checked in on us throughout the meal. You could tell he really cared about giving great service, which made the whole experience even better.

Night shifts can be tough, especially with large tables, but Alexander handled it with such a great attitude and professionalism. If you’re visiting IHOP during the night shift, I definitely hope you get Alexander as your server. He did an amazing job!

I had a very disappointing experience at this IHOP location on December 21. My companion and I visited for lunch after staying at the Hampton Inn Gainesville, which is located across the street. We were on a road trip through Virginia from New York and chose IHOP because it has always been one of my favorite breakfast places.
When we entered the restaurant, we approached the front desk to request a table for two. The gentleman working at the front desk spoke very loudly while asking for my name and told us to wait for a table. I then politely asked how long the wait might be, which is a very normal and common question asked at any restaurant. Instead of responding calmly, he became irritated and raised his voice, saying he could not give an exact time. I was not asking for an exact time–just an approximate wait.
His attitude was unnecessarily rude and aggressive, and he continued to raise his voice for no reason. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. While we were waiting on the front sofa, he eventually called our name and offered us a very small table that we were expected to share with two other people, which was unacceptable for us. At that point, we decided to leave the restaurant.
What made the situation worse was that the same employee was loudly yelling at his own coworkers in front of customers, which is extremely unprofessional. I have never experienced anything like this at any IHOP location in New York, where service has always been friendly and respectful.
IHOP has always been a place I enjoy, but this location left me very disappointed. The customer service here needs serious improvement, better staff training, and more professionalism. No guest should feel disrespected.

Mason delivered perfect service. Attentive, kind, professional and humorous. He and the manager Jean-Paul anticipated my needs, came to check in on me just frequently enough and were very accommodating to my needs and questions. Food is great for what it is, nothing exceptional but his the spot for late night bite needs.

Me and my friends came here for a late night snack after going to a few haunted farm trails and needless to say, we had a great time. The food was on point, despite the limited menu available after 10 P.M.

One of our friends asked our server if they offered cold ketchup, which made everyone of our friends laugh because who makes that kind of request. Our server, who was phenomenal, said he would be willing to go put some ketchup in the freezer and bring it out for him. Our friend then proceeded to devour his entire meal and tell the server he no longer needed ketchup, which made everyone die of laughter. Our server smiled and was very cool about it. When we all paid for our meals, our server brought a tiny cup of cold ketchup, which made everyone laugh and it made our entire night. One of our friends even drew a picture recreating this whole moment.

Needless to say, we all had a blast and we would not hesitate recommending this ihop to anyone and everyone.

Ate here today and got my food. Everything was cold and now i’m pretty sure i have food poisoning. My mom also got something to eat here and her plate had dried food on it like it wasn’t washed and all silverware was dirty. The food tasted ok but i prefer my food warm not cold.

We arrived around 8:00–8:30 PM and the service was a mess from the start. One employee took our party size and never followed up, and another came later asking the same question with a rude, uninterested attitude.
When we sat down, a nearby table was piled with dirty dishes that stayed there for a long time without anyone cleaning it.

The staff was disorganized and careless. My kids’ order couldn’t be made because they “didn’t have waffles,” and the server added unnecessary rules about milkshakes and the Kids Free offer. Everything felt complicated for no reason.

At checkout, the manager, Olga, argued that my IHOP reward couldn’t be used, claiming she had “20 years working there” and had never seen it. After checking with the owner, she returned saying it could be applied. Very unprofessional overall.

Experiences like this are exactly why self-service and AI systems will eventually replace waiters in places like this. Many customers simply want to order, eat, and leave — without dealing with bad attitudes or confusion. That day will come.

I will not be returning to this IHOP, and I do not recommend it.
