Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The atmosphere was better than the service. The food was served cold. I ordered a burger, combo #2. The meat was burnt around the edges and the burger was cold. The French fries were warm, almost cold. But that’s the way Whataburger is doing business now. The cook the fries and leave them under the lights until a customer orders a meal.

I ordered the #2 meal with extra onion, fries and dr. pepper. The food was delicious as always. My complaint is the poor service i received at the register. Emberly failed to smile,greet, and engage with either the older gentleman ahead of me or myself. In fact , she appeared to be bothered with having to help us with our order. She is not a good fit for the service industry.

I’ve ordered the same thing several times from this location. I ask for light mustard & and when I get my order it’s drenched in mustard-90% of the time. I ask for easy onions & that’s hit or miss. Some days my order is right, other days it’s not. I just got my order right now & literally trashed it after biting in to a soggy burger bun. The reason why I ask for easy mustard is so that I don’t get home with a soggy burger bun – it’s disgusting. The onion part is easy to handle, because if there’s too many I can just pick some of them out. You think I’d just check the burger before leaving, every time, but I’m hoping people will understand what light mustard means. I’ve raised this issue before, but it’s a hassle to get down with a baby in tow -every time they get it wrong. I’m done ordering from this place.

Some friend recommended this place as it is one of the local brand for burger. The place feel is like 80,s. The food is awesome with good size of burger. Staff was helpful and friendly. The place was a bit crowded but we got good food.

Visited June 28 for 2 sausage gravy meals. Ordered carry out. When I got home one of the biscuits was burned and dry. I was not going back and waste gas for one biscuit so me and my wife shared the other biscuit. I complained to the customer care people at whataburger and there response was to send me a verification code for a free burger with a purchase of soda and fries. Really! I have to spend money to make up for not enjoying my breakfast.

Worst experience this am and we go almost 3x a week cuz it’s so close to my husband job. The diet coke needed the syrup changed cuz it was straight carbonation and that was so noticeable. The biscuit was so hard you could feel it through the wrapper. Rock hard the fries were so old as well as the hash browns. When we asked for fresh fries the girl made a face. She was so rude with her face expressions. Then no forks for the food that NEEDED forks. And zero napkins. This was at 7: 30 am. Whataburger your service and food quality is lacking.

This location is horrible. My order was wrong and when I drive back they tell me that they won’t be remaking my order because only one of them was messed up. Like excuse me? I’m brining the entire order back one person didn’t get their food correctly and they expect me to eat my food cold? I didn’t pay for cold food. They also returned my drinks back to me with melted ice. Employees have ugly attitude when telling them they messed up your order we should be the ones with attitude we had to drive back not you.
