Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered via the app to avoid waiting too long. I had issues with the app first, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I arrived and had a hard time finding a curbside pick up spot since people were parking in the spots and going inside to order or pick up. I found the last spot that was available and my food was out really fast. I was within the expected window for the order to be ready. The fries were old & cold. They were very soggy. The cheese on my cheeseburger wasn’t even melted. I was very surprised by how none of my food seemed very fresh or warm. I immediately tasted the fries, so it definitely wasn’t that they got cold in my car. Sadly, I was craving a Whataburger with bacon & cheese and some crispy fries so bad too.

Terrible experience at this Whataburger. First, I asked for a milkshake and they told me the machine was “being cleaned,” then a minute later they changed the story and said it wasn’t working at all. If it’s broken, just be honest from the start.
On top of that, they forgot my creamy pepper sauce, and the cinnamon roll I ordered looked like it was just thrown into the box with zero care. The presentation was awful.
Overall, really unprofessional service and poor attention to detail. Definitely not coming back to this location. Please speak to your team !!

This is the worst location. The burger was cold and soggy. The fries were cold and hard and the drink was flat. I went back for the fries to be made fresh and they just threw the old ones back in the oil. The guy at first drive through window had an attitude. My drink was changed but was given in the same cup after they took it to the back. The employees are young and lack basic common sense. Do not come here.

This Whataburger place is our favorite (my husband and I). The managers Monica, CJ, Angel are excellent and also all employees like Diana, Christian, Marlene are great. I love the ambiance. It is a good place to ease up your hunger. It is also busy during meal time adding to the excitement.

The worst drive thru of all time. Not just out of whataburgers, I mean of all time. It’s the slowest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s ridiculous. So many times I’ve given it a chance. But I’ll be in the drive thru for 30minutes so often. One time I was here for 15 minutes with only one car in front of me. It’s just so bad. They need better management, team or system because 0/10. But today is the worst, I’ve been here for 30 minutes and it’s moved ONE car. I’m leaving lol.

I went during my lunch time. It was busy, but I didn’t wait too long.Someone took my order outside in drive thru, but it was quick. The only thing is that they messed up on my order which I ordered a #5 and got something else (see picture). However when I called the Manager she was able to assist me. Due to me going during my lunch she said I could go back with the receipt to get the order I had originally requested. I still haven’t gone back, but I will post how it goes.

So sad to have been disappointed. The burger was cold, cheese not melted, even after they said that they would make me a fresh one. We waited a very long time for our order. The drive thru is crazy busy. Walking inside was not a great decision.
