Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

So sad to have been disappointed. The burger was cold, cheese not melted, even after they said that they would make me a fresh one. We waited a very long time for our order. The drive thru is crazy busy. Walking inside was not a great decision.

Well we decided to come back to eat at Whataburger again after 9 months but this time we came to this location in McAllen and we were very impressed the customer service was excellent the Food was delicious and the Atmosphere was great we really enjoyed it.

Only been here a few times but every time I go they get the order right and I never have to wait too long. I order on the app always which usually helps with order accuracy, and yes sometimes the wait can be long if you go at 6 pm, but they have two lanes and always seem to be hustling.

I went during my lunch time. It was busy, but I didn’t wait too long.Someone took my order outside in drive thru, but it was quick. The only thing is that they messed up on my order which I ordered a #5 and got something else (see picture). However when I called the Manager she was able to assist me. Due to me going during my lunch she said I could go back with the receipt to get the order I had originally requested. I still haven’t gone back, but I will post how it goes.

Been here the past 4 times and each time they take FOREVER with every car. 15-20 min wait time per person. I placed an order for pickup on the app and said it would be ready in 4-7 minutes. I arrive and they had me waiting in line for 45 minutes when the order was ready right next to the girl at the window. Don’t go to this location.

I went at 1am and there was only two cars in front of me at the drive thru. No one acknowledged me when I pulled up to the speaker. Had to wait a very long time for food only to see that the employees were laughing carelessly inside. They also gave me the wrong sandwich and my food was not hot. Every time I go I always wait a long time.
