Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Me and my family went here to eat, And had placed our orders, We waited a couple of minutes then this sweet man came over with our food placing it down, Being very polite as well before asking if we wanted any ketchup, Honestly he lifted our mood, He seemed like such a gentleman! He wore like a beard guard and glasses, He was a older gentleman but absolutely sweet! He really did lift up the atmosphere, Hope to see him again!

We ordered the honey bbq chicken strip on texas toast, onion rings and drink. Good sandwich e erytime we get it, rings were hot. The staff was very friendly and supplied us w condiments.

The Whataburger on Sam Houston in front of Sam’s service was bad. They have incompetent people working for them. The lady that took my order assumed that I was ordering a small milkshake in place of the drink that came with the combo, after I had told her I also wanted another order of medium fries and a small milkshake. So she canceled the fries and the drink that came with the combo.
