Simple chain spot offering American diner fare & all-day breakfast, including signature waffles.

Everything here hits the spot. The cheesy grits are fire. The wonderbread is crack. The waffles smothered in butter and syrup is a must. Wish we had Waffle House out on the west coast! Comforting but certainly not nutritious lol. I came during the day so I don’t witness any waffle house brawls.

We visited Waffle House for breakfast and it was our first experience at this iconic diner. As soon as we walked in, we noticed its classic American diner style, complete with stools at the counter and an open kitchen facing the dining area. It’s a nostalgic setting that seems rare these days.
Despite the restaurant being full, we managed to snag a seat for my wife and me. Looking at the menu, we were surprised to find fewer waffle options than we expected, given the name of the restaurant. I ordered the special, which included waffles, eggs, bread, and hash browns, while my wife opted for the plain original waffles.
Watching the cooks prepare our food was a unique experience—both interesting and a bit challenging. However, it gave us confidence in the quality of our meal. The service was friendly, and we were impressed by how efficiently the three cooks managed to handle all the orders without any errors, especially in such a small space.
The prices were reasonable, and while the place felt a little dated, that added to its charm. We both loved the waffles; they were different from any we had tried before. Additionally, there was ample parking available, which is always a plus.
Overall, Waffle House provided a nostalgic dining experience with good food and friendly service. We would definitely return!

Sooo slow! Can’t dine in at night anymore. 40 minutes for an order of food. Waffle House has gone way done hill.

Disappointed. Others need to know after after 8:30 pm, Waffle House goes to a To-Go Menu. That means that late diners must order through an outside window. The service was slow, especially since there were no other customers. We waited outside; there was no seating there, and no place where I felt safe.
Then, there was a 20% gratuity applied, 10% for the person who made the food, and 10% for the To-Go service. The personnel inside appeared to not need or appreciate our business; we didn’t appreciate waiting outside, and the food was just average.
There is a further surcharge on eggs.
It has been a long time since we have eaten at Waffle House, and there will be no reason to return.

Placed name on the waiting list, asked hostess about the bar, she said “first come first serve, there is no list and no one wants to sit there”. A couple leaves, no one moves to those seats, they stayed open, so we we to them and sat down. After sitting for about 10 minutes, some other employee, comes around from behind the counter and says we can’t sit there, we have to move because there is a list. The couple he brings over continued to say that didnt want to sit at the counter, but decides “I guess”.
We politely moved, it wasn’t the customers fault, even though they didn’t want to sit there. But, I do blame the establishment for lack of communication with guests, lack of communication as a team, and confusing guests waiting trying to figure out what is going on.
The original 20 minute quote for a table…that turned into 30 minutes. Then staff proceeds by skipping multiple parties of 2 on the waitlist, and seats the last name on the list.
Yes, we left, and did not give them our business.

Food was expected in a fast turnaround restaurant but the attitude of the servers was terrible. Talk about entitled, they snubbed their noses at every turn. Specifically atrocious was Chocolate, who took our payment; she took the slip without acknowledging us, verbal or eye contact, processed the payment with the same level of entitlement never looking directly at us or verbally acknowledging us in any way. Skip this Waffle House and go to the next one down the road!

Its crazy you can not even eat inside later hours. They have 4 people working the kitchen, 2 person sitting down to take order at the windows, And the wait is longer. Its crazy the one you get to sit down and eat you get service fast. This owner really should look into cutting staff over paying people.

Walked in at 8 am, wanted to order to go. Told I needed to go back outside and stand at the window. Go and stand in the cold this morning outside to order food, hence give you my money, with 6 customers in your restaurant. Didn’t order. They don’t want people inside I guess. Probably why prices are so high, to compensate for no tipping service from people not dining in.
