Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I was in town and had to try this spot out, in California we don’t have a Whataburger. This place was busy, it took awhile to get my food but worth it. Burger was really good but a bit salty, the fries with the hot Ketchup was amazing. If you get a chance check this place out.

I’ve been coming to this location since I was a kid growing up in the 90’s and I’ve always remembered having a great experience but recently these last two years or so it has not been so well. Multiple times i’ve been given the wrong order or missing parts of my order. My biggest gripe is the waiting, no matter what time you arrive day/night expect to wait 20-30mins for your food even if there are hardly any people inside or in the drive through. I’ve also learned to wait a good 20mins after my designated pick up time on my mobile orders before leaving to pick them up because it’s never ready at the time you are given and word of advice If you place a mobile order at night save yourself some time and select to pick it up inside and not the drive-thru even though you may have to still wait 10mins or so till it’s ready but if you decide to drive-thru expect a 30-45min wait after your designated pick up time. Last time did that I showed up 10min after my pick up time and still waited 30mins to get my food and this was around 1am in the morning and there was only one car in front of me.

Food is good. We asked for no onions and got onions. Food took a while for dine in. Cashier was very helpful and sold me on a collectible cup.restrooms were clean and fully stocked. A lady came by to remove our tray with trash. Overall it was a nice visit. A change from eating at home or drive thru. Keep up the good work!!

** ATTENTION JOSEPH MARTINEZ** I had stopped going to this location due to a very incompetent employee named Chris who was always on cloud 9 and messing up orders. I decided to go again today due to being short on time and not being able to go to another preferred location that’s more than twice the distance away and it was a mistake. Andre brought my order out to curbside and stood right in front of my vehicle with my order then took it back inside. I patiently waited thinking they forgot something.. 28 MINUTES of waiting I decide to go inside for the order which was sitting under the counter and all my food was cold and biscuits already got hard by the time I was home. Also, they forgot my hashbrowns after all of that! I asked the employee and he just said he couldn’t find my vehicle and shrugged multiple times. Management as well as workers do not known how to acknowledge customers waiting to place orders. 2 workers behind counter carrying on there one conversation while customer is waiting to place order. Management on duty is able to see what is going on and also does not acknowledge customers. This location probably needs the gm to be retrained in customer service. That way gm can show all workers the same. As for our orders, mistakes were made on both orders but they corrected the mistakes.

Do not order onion rings or curbside from this Whataburger. This is my second time doing curbside at this location and both times took forever. This time it was over 30 minutes past the “estimated ready time”. Never got anything so I had to get off to get my food and saw my name on their big screen in red saying 30 minutes since arrival. Mind you if they were busy I would understand but they didn’t seem that busy. On top of the long wait my onion rings were completely burnt as if they were sitting there all day and dunked in the fryer like 3 times.

Ordered on their app. Got home and got this. Order was all wrong and my burger looked like they just threw the ingredients on the bun. Worst order ever. We ordered almost fifty dollars worth of food. And it was terrible. Will definitely not come back to this whataburger ever again. They should be ashamed for preparing this order.
