Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Greeted with a smile! Staff very helpful and friendly! Food is always fresh and delicious! Order is always made correctly! I’m always thanked upon exiting the restaurant! Restaurant is always clean and bathrooms as well! Plenty of parking including handicap! Love the rewards in the app!

I used the drive-thru today. The young lady at the window at 2:50PM was awesome. She got my order correct, very friendly, very pleasant, 5/5 service, awesome customer service. The cook got my burger 100% correct, it was hot, cheese melted, toppings laid out perfectly as it should be. This is the best WB I’ve had in months, keep up the great work.

The standard is kept high for the Original Whataburger! The menu can be modified, within reason, to how you prefer your food served. Many Whataburger favorites uphold the high standards of the restaurant chain. The staff is friendly and courteous and seem like they actually enjoy their jobs. If you are bringing someone to their first Whataburger experience, this location is definitely a must!

Prices continue to go up, 9and the burgers continue to shrink. Why offer customized burgers I’d employees do not listen to your order or make the burger correctly? And don’t get me on the fries….they must be hot & fresh!!! I asked for no tomatoes….and received no pickles.

Last night i went through the drive through of the whataburger. They were extremely rude when i had them correct my drink from a Dr.proper to a Root beer, well i thought i could trust who was working at the window, but the teenage guy thought it would be hilarious to give me the wrong drink after pulling off. And the young black lady taken the headset orders told him to give me the same dr. pepper.
I went inside to speak to the manager on duty, but she was too focused on her fry cook. When i got home to eat my monterey melt, it was disgusting. the meat tasted like how a wet dog smells. I wish i never wasted my time, and money coming to this horrible place, which la lacks simple customer service. I took a picture of the manager since she didn’t want to give me my money back, for something i did not eat, and had to go inside and fix my own drink. Very rude man at the drive through, and whoever takes the orders at night wants to laugh at you getting the wrong order! don’t waste your time here

Whataburger in Corpus Christi is a must-visit! Being right next to the original Whataburger replica made the experience fun and unique. The restaurant was busy when we arrived for lunch, but the staff handled the crowd impressively with quick and efficient service. Despite the rush, everything was spotless, including the restrooms. It’s a fantastic spot for both the history and the classic Whataburger quality we know and love.

The manager is extremely rude whenever you try to speak to them. If you bring up a complaint or point out an issue, they talk down to you and make you feel stupid. even when the mistake was clearly theirs. On top of that, the staff’s behavior is horrible They yell across the workplace, openly talk about drinking plans, and gossip about where people were instead of doing their jobs. To make it worse, orders are frequently incorrect, which shows a lack of care and attention. Overall, the environment feels chaotic, disrespectful, and poorly managed.

I frequent this Whataburger often. And it’s a great feeling every time I go. I always get greeted as soon as I roll in the door. Yes I’m a wheelchair user. Never an issue for me to get a good seat. The same counter lady is always taking my order. And gets it right every time !! It’s not noisy.. forever clean..you see them clean tables non stop. Management is on point..I actually got my meal served to me by a manager..she was very nice and people friendly. My to go meal was, promptly taken care of once I was ready to go.

I have to agree with the rest of the lowest reviews, I had the same experience with drive thru the other night. Took my granddaughter after she got out of work to get a chicken tenders meal. There were two cars in front of us, the one in front was given their order but the one in front of that one was still waiting. They must have been waiting there for awhile because they were already waiting when we got there. Drive thru asked me to move forward so they could help the other customers behind me. Four other cars came and went behind us and still no order for my granddaughter. When the employee finally came out with the order I told him, really it took 25 minutes to make 3 chicken tenders. He then said it’s fresh, so what was he saying, that everything else they make at that place is old food. I then asked for the manager because we didn’t get our receipt so we could do a review. The manager then came out and handed me the receipt and said I’m sorry in which I replied no your not. If she had been sorry she could have given my granddaughter her money back and had her keep the meal. I spoken to other friends who have mentioned that they won’t go to that Whataburger because they have had similar experiences of waiting to long or getting the wrong order. Whataburger has gone downhill ever since the family sold the company. When it comes down to it is that companies don’t care anymore about how many customers receive bad service as long as they are making money from the rest of the people who don’t mind getting bad service. What these businesses have to understand is that they should expect customers to get angry if they give bad service.

I wasn’t going to say anything until reading the other reviews, but I have had similar experience where I’ve had to go back twice for simple orders where I was missing 3 things. And not only that, but did they ignore my order. No pickles, I am allergic to pickles, and you deliberately ignored that what would you have done if I sat there and took a bite out of that sandwich and ended up in the hospital because of it. Definitely , will never be eating at whataburger again
