Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Waited 20 minutes for a Promotional BLT sandwich and 2pc tender meal. Wasn’t even busy. Whataburger, your restaurant has declined so much, that it’s not worth time and money to deal with yall anymore. How are you going to skimp out on the Bacon of the BLT promo, along with cheating me out of the extra bacon I added. I guess that’s what happens when you sell out to Chicago. Guess I’ll continue going to Burger Boy, they always get orders correct on my visits.

Convinced we waited 10-15 minutes for burnt fries. With how long we waited in the drive through that had no customers until we drove up for two breakfast burgers and fries. None of them were edible and one could easily tell by the sheer color of them. Could easily have broken a tooth on a fry and I wish I would have realized sooner so that I could question the employees who served them to try one. Save your time and money and drive to the franchise down the street.

This location is super busy! Knowing this, you would think that you would have a long wait or dry burgers because they were possibly precooked to help with speeding up cook time during busiest hours, but it’s not. They actually have great management at this location. Lots of employees running around and you can see everyone at their stations doing exactly what needs to be done. It’s very impressive. The food is consistently delicious, the store is clean, the bathrooms are clean and when you walk up to place your order; you are greeted with a smile.

My first ever visit to Whataburger and the last: a very unpleasant odor inside the eatery should be a warning, then I was waiting and waiting and waiting for Ryan to stop chit chatting with his female colleague. Nobody greeted me or noticed my presence. The manager (short young male employee in a white shirt) was on his personal cell phone having an entertaining conversation. The place was empty, I was the only one and nobody bothered to serve me. I just walked away (probably better for my health anyway).
