Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I came the night before got the wrong order but james (manager of the night) helped me to get a new on on them for the inconvenience. I got my second order the next day and everyone there was very polite. They took care of it and didn’t take long at all. Honestly some of the best whataburger i had in a minute yall just gained a new customer. ✌️❤️

I’m extremely disappointed with Whataburger after our recent visit. My husband’s burger was completely messed up, so he politely went back to the counter to ask if they could remake it correctly. Instead of fixing their mistake, the staff just handed him two slices of cheese and some bacon in a wrapper like that was supposed to solve the problem.
No apology, no effort to remake the burger, and honestly just poor customer service all around. When you pay for a meal, you expect it to be made right — and if it isn’t, the bare minimum should be fixing it properly. This felt lazy and disrespectful, and it definitely ruined our experience. We won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.

First off…I want to preface that this location is not in a great area. I only found it out after arriving- it’s surrounded by motels and lots of people wandering around. I ordered a patty melt and my friend ordered some kind of bacon cheeseburger. We also did the combo with fries and drinks. After having whataburger in Georgia, the Texas whataburger was a let down. The food, while hot, was unappetizing and just not very good.
However, the redeeming factor of this location was the STAFF!!! They were amazing. The cashier worked with me to make sure my coupons were applied properly and even went so far as to ring up 2 different orders to make sure it worked. She was very friendly and helpful. There was also a guy attending to the main dining area and he was phenomenal. He ran up and cleaned our table when it was dirty, brought out food, dumped our trash and even held the door on the way out.

Awesome delicious food at a good price, I need to pay this establishment another visit for an updated review. Staffing very helpful, friendly and attentive. Very busy but awesome service, my favorite stops indeed. Will be dropping by soon again for a new review on all of their services. Awesome sauce.

This was our first Whataburger experience and we enjoyed it. Fries were like McDonalds and burgers were large…make sure you ask for cheese though because that’s not standard. We tried the new Dr Pepper Shake and it was tasty as well. The dining room was clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. They ring your food to your table and a condiment/napkin tray for convenience. Everyone liked their food and we would definitely return for a quick, fast-food meal.

I asked for no pickles on my burger and there was a handful on them…. I can not eat pickles and if i was allergic to them this wouldve killed me.
Definitely checking anything i buy here before leaving… extremely disappointed and unhappy with service.

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, I would. This order was through Uber Eats, and it was unexceptable. The food was so greasy that the bags were soggy. Everything was cold and had the taste of old burnt oil. This was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever received from Uber Eats. This location should not be up and running, serving food to even an animal. This Whataburger Mgr should be ashamed.
