Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Well-managed location with 15-20 people working during my visit, which led to friendly service and a delicious order that came out in under 3 minutes in a clean and up-beat atmosphere. Bravo to the franchisee and manager. Will stop by again.

We always stop at this location on our way to the casino. Lately we have been pretty disappointed. This time, we went in first to use the restroom. The toilets look rusted out and unclean. The bathroom in general felt like it needed a good scrub down. When we went back to the car to order food in through the drive through, we experienced bad customer service. Due to dietary restrictions, we had asked for a chicken sandwich, but to be made like the Whataburger with all of the same fixings. She was very confused by our request also we talked around in circles. Then we had asked for a milkshake. We got denied since the ice cream machine was not working, so we had to go across the street to McDonald’s to get our fix. To get to the window to pay, there was a cement pole in the way to protect the gutter. I understand it’s purpose-to protect the integrity of the gutter. However, it made it nearly impossible to reach the window with how far it made me drive away from the building. By the time that we got our food at Whataburger, all of our burgers/sandwiches were cold. The sandwiches requested to be made with dietary restrictions in mind were made incorrectly, and they were sloppily made. The fries were hot at least.

Every time I’m back in Texas to visit my parents, we frequent this Whataburger for breakfast. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is friendly and quick with food, and the food is just what you’d expect from Whataburger. Nice little fast food place!

First time coming to this location. The food was okay not great. The limited time bacon burger wasn’t that great, they gave me cold fries & the coke wasn’t carbonated like how it usually is. You guys can do much better. The employees were friendly.

Worst Whataburger ever!! They got our orders wrong then when we took them back in, they didn’t want to remake it, fix the problem, etc. My husband literally just asked for sides of lettuce, tomato , bacon, condiments, etc to remake them in our car ourselves!! We grew up on Whataburger and love going back home to eat it, this is a disgrace to their chain!!

Everything was enjoyable except for my meal. We were a party of four and we all ordered chicken of some sort, well big mistake because my chicken was hard, old, cold and tasted terrible. My daughter took the first bite of her chicken sandwich and burned her mouth, if we had to wait for chicken to cook anyway I wish we could have all had fresh, hot, tasty chicken. I know that whoever fixed my chicken sandwich would have never choose to eat that piece of chicken patty themselves and yet they choose to serve it to me instead. You could see that it was not appetizing it was really dark from sitting for so long. It didn’t taste good at all. It was not even warm, much less hot not even close to 165°. I had not been to whataburger since my college days but if I had to choose to come here again or someplace else, I’d more than likely choose to go elsewhere since the only thing I did enjoy was the cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves.
