Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Came in at 11, they have 2 drive thru lanes open but somehow they were only helping out customers on lane 2 , when it came to my lane , they just helped out the car in front of me and did not greet or helped me out . They helped out 5 cars before me, and I was waiting there for 20 minutes already . Nobody HELPED ME OUT for over 25 minutes , I even had cars behind me , so I had to reverse back and leave . (they didn’t have no sign that one of the drive through lanes was closed). not sure if they only wanted to help out cars from
one lane , but they could’ve had a sign or at least acknowledge that I was there waiting for more than 25 minutes . terrible service, all it could’ve taken them to say was “hi welcome to whataburger i’ll be right with you”. just ignored us completely .

There was a time about a year ago that the service was terrible with delays and the kids working the back were just playing around not focused. It seems like they must have a different manager since then because the service is now good. The meal is always on time when I order on the app which is most of the time. Seems like the they’ve gotten a mature, and I’m not referring to age, staff. The people working there now seem serious about service. Of course, staffing at any fast food place is fluid, but right now as I write this review, it is good. I like basing the food review on the temperature of the fries. A good fast food always serves the fries when the food is being picked up, not any earlier. If it’s done early, they sit in the bag getting soggy while the customer shows up to get their food. At least right now, I recommend this location. If the service changes, I’ll make amendments to this review.

The service is terrible Bryan spoke about us to his colleagues in Spanish, not knowing we bilingual, he said we were stupid I need to hurry up and get out of their line because we had asked what was the total he asked for a card without giving us the total the service was terrible. The lines were backed up 20 minute wait for a drive-through is ridiculous. The team lead needs further training that’s no way to handle business

Two weeks ago I pulled up through the drive thru to order breakfast and coffee. The young guy who waited on me was so rude all over not wanting to grab sugar for my coffee. I think that if he had been a little nicer about it, I could have been okay with it but the blatant rudeness was just too much. While waiting on him to make coffee, I decided to go inside to speak to the manager about the exchange. She was very pleasant and made the coffee for me as I did not trust him to get me the “special” kind. I think since the pandemic started, people have gotten way too comfortable with being rude and/or lazy with customers. He needs to go back to training. When a business lose customers, this is one of the main reasons why they do. One thing that location will never have to worry about is my patronage again, ever. All it takes is just a little kindness. No place for rude behavior ever.

Worst whataburger in Texas. You order online and still wait 20 minutes for your food. Whoever gave Josie a manager position should be fired she definitely belongs on the fry line. Then I get home and it’s not even what I ordered. I had a #1 with bacon on Texas toast. As you can see neither is here smh. Definitely want my money back and they never have to see me again.
