It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Slow and the food tastes over processed. I waited 15 minutes for 2 chicken sandwiches at 11 AM. The chicken texture is like rubber and tastes like fake smoke. It also looked like a flattened pancake. $8 grilled chicken pancake is a rip.

Whataburger knows how to build teams. They are kept motivated, have continuous purpose, and are always smiling. Food is always served hot and fresh. It says some thing when they are always able to serve you a shake or a malt when you want one. Apparently their machines don’t break down.

I stopped by at 11:20pm and there was a huge line. It took me 30 minutes to move three car lanes., consequently got impatient and left. Mcdonalds has a faster line, they need to hire more people.

You get stuck in the drive through because when they have you pull forward to wait on your food it blocks the driveway and you can’t get out. We stopped for just a cold drink and waited 10+ min for the orders in front of us to be brought out so we could leave.

Sad- this whataburger has decent food. Problem is don’t ever – EVER – get delivery from here. I have never once gotten delivery from Doordash or even their own website made or delivered correctly. I’ve had to drive in to pick up meals- and they definitely don’t reimburse delivery charges. Drive through, or eat in only here. Can’t manage their delivery options.

Went through the drive through. They made us pull around to wait on our food. Sat there for over ten minutes and they hardly had any customers so weren’t busy.
