Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This location does better than any others near me. Tonight was very strange though. My wife ordered a Whataburger Jr. and her burger had 4 slices of tomato and 3 slices of pickles. The only thing she specified for her order was no onion. We ordered it on the app curbside. By the time she opened her burger the bun was wet and cold from all that tomato. There was more tomato than burger!!!

Good Service, of course since whataburger makes everything fresh, it at times can take a little while to get your food, BUT … when it comes it is nice and hot and fresh!! I appreciate the folks that walk around the lobby asking if we need more ketchup or salt/pepper, etc… Have never had an issue with this place. Always top notch food and service here. Place is always clean. I always come back.

I’ve been a customer of this location for many years. I’ve recently had multiple problems simply getting the food that I ordered. I’ve spoken to several staff members, assistant managers, namely Edna Nagle, and no one person has expressed any actual care. I’ve been charged for food I didn’t receive 3 separate times now, and the staff has been so incredibly rude and unhelpful, uncaring, it’s absolutely insulting. This used to be a decent place to get fast food. Clearly something has changed. Try anywhere else. It’s a shame because I live nearby and have had so many good experiences historically. Friendswood people, go anywhere else. This place is nothing but insulting due to lack of care.

Last visit a few years ago: stood in line for 10 minutes, one person in front of me, no one taking orders. Several people working in the kitchen, and some in the dining area, but no one taking orders. I left, went home, called that store’s manager, shared my experience. He was apologetic but also surprised, “I had no idea that was happening.” Judging by recent reviews seems the problem persists.

The night shift is horrible, precooked patties that won’t even melt the cheese not to mention the order on all meals were completely wrong. They even managed to mess up my sweet tea somehow, it was warm when i got home… The Incompetence of these people and crew is just impressive. If you enjoy warm sweet tea and wrong orders this is your restaurant. Can you even imagine if they can’t get your order right every time you go in how filthy that kitchen must be. I question everything about this place now. Me nor my family will be coming back and I’m going to try and get ahold of the General Manager because this place needs major improvement. It never used to be this way so what changed?

Incredibly rude manager. Super lazy and locks all the doors to the restaurant and forced me to go through the drive-thru after waiting outside for 8 minutes and they all just ignored me. On the app I specifically said I would pick up at the register to avoid the drive thru lines, despite other customers eating inside, all doors locked, and I had to pick it up at the window when my food was ready, getting cold, on the counter.

I absolutely love Whataburger, it’s my go to fast food. But holy hell this place is the slowest, I’ve eatin at this one at least 7 times and it’s always the slowest service. At least 20 minute wait time. It’s just unfortunate.

Food is always sub par at this location and it takes forever to get in and out. I got a specialty burger Buffalo Ranch sandwich and it was covers in so much ranch that the bread was soggy. This is just bad service and lack of detail in the food.
