Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Bad service. Had a problem with the order, manager very argumentative, and refused to give me her name. She finally told me she would replace the item that was done incorrectly and bringing my receipt. But still refused to give me her name. Most whataburgers are really good, my experience with this one in Baytown Texas on 146 was horrible. These days there are a lot of places that really don’t care about the customer and being professional. Thi

I rarely leave reviews but they took care of me here. My wife put an online order for breakfast at like 10:50 am little did she show she put it for 10.50 pm. We pull up about 11:10 to get our food and they inform us that we put the order for that night. They proceeded to turn on the breakfast burners and make it all right even though it was our fault. Good Management. They even through in a extra biscuit sandwich for the wait.

Oh my goodness! This is the slowest, most organized restaurant I have ever been to in Baytown. I ordered my food online and waited until it was supposed to be ready before going in. Once inside, I waited another 30 minutes while crew members roamed aimlessly about the place, and people were held hostage awaiting their orders. I had a young man come to me and ask for my order 3 duodenal times only to say that it was coming shortly every time. These were false statements every time. I finally broke and asked for a refund. The kind lady who helped me was so embarrassed by how the staff was running as she wasn’t even supposed to be there. Thank goodness she was, though. She gave me my refund & fulfilled my order. I hope this was fluke and this isn’t how they always operate. But i won’t be going back.

It takes so long to go through this line. Especially if it odd backed up to the order mic. This time they started my order but 10 min later never finished it. So I had to drive up to the windows and tell them they never came back to the mic to finish my order of one burger with cheese no veggies. 25 min for one burger.

Normally we stop in Baytown to eat Breakfast enroute to Louisianna. Because of construction at our turnoff, we drove to another exit where there were restaurants. Whataburger on Hwy 146 was in the cluster of places where one could eat. It is located in an attractive modern building. Interior was beautifully designed with a nice layout to order, pickup and dine. The place was clean. The one person at counter was efficient & seemed to be doing work of three. Since we were not familiar with their menu & didn’t know what we wanted, she directed me to look at the menu board while she took care of other business. I ordered two coffees and Items #20 # #24.from menu board. Service was quick. Since we were there in the mid morning expected condiments and soap in men’s bathroom to be stocked. Low on jellies and two dispensers were out of soap.

They manipulate the system, they mark the order as done while it’s NOT, just to meet the company standards and policy.
They were not busy and my order took over 25 minutes. I talked to the manager but he was unprofessional and rude. He told me that I can cancel the order and go to another restaurant if I am that hungry!

I went through the drive through and from speed to freshness the representative’s were AMAZING. The customer service was amazing from start to finish and I am more than grateful for everything I experienced with this fast food!
