Before reading this entire post. Please understand I do not troll or write inaccurate reviews. I encourage you to review my numerous posts on previous reviews of various business. I currently hold a 3.5 million photo viewership on Google. If this post is removed, I will formally file a complaint.

This experience was the worst dinning experience in my entire 2025 year.

Upon entering the establishment, the strong odor of marijuana was inside the building. I know marijuana is not illegal but it’s very frustrating when trying to have a family dinner.

We were a group of 6 and were told by the waitress 20% gratuities must be applied.

– The entire table never received silverware. We requested silverware numerous times.

– we requested napkins numerous times, the waitress brought us five napkins for the entire table. We had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels to use.

– I ordered 1 old-fashioned when we first arrived. My old-fashioned took over 30 minutes to receive.

– my sister-in-law ordered one daiquiri when we first arrived and received it moments upon receiving the check at the end of the meal (nearly 1 hour). The waitress advised they were operating slow and I photographed the bar area because she was lying. The bar was not busy and the bartenders were serving the people sitting at the bar without required rush.

– my other sister-in-law never got her french fries included with her meal.

– my 10 year-old daughter wanted to use the restroom, she said she could not do so because the toilets were clogged and feces was visual.

– When my daughter was brought her macaroni, the waitress had her finger in the macaroni when setting it on the table.

– When it was time to leave and pay, I told the waitress about the issues of the dinner and she said I must pay the 20% because it is the law. She stated I MUST click the 20% button on the card reader that she displayed because it was the law. I explained to her that this is not right and she stated, “I don’t care, I’m getting a new job very soon.”

I will never return to this business. I have included photos of my visit for validation. I would give this NO STARS if possible!!!!

Sequoia and Derrick bring ELITE customer service and made our 1st Bar Louie experience amazing! Mami wanted the espresso martini BAD and even with a broken espresso machine, Derrick was able to make things work out. We ordered the following during happy hour:

Monkey shoulder shot: 7/10 cool, strong
Havana classic mojito passion fruit: 7/10 fresh
Fall spiced old fashioned: 10/10 perfect amount of sweet. Fall vibes for men
Espresso martini: 9/10 good and strong
Thai crispy Calamari: 9/10 should be tossed in sauce, still good.
Spinach & artichoke dip: 10/10 wish there was more
Truffle mushroom and asparagus flatbread: 8/10 way too much artichokes, very flavorful.
Chicken quesadilla: 9/10 very good

Overall a very good first experience and we will be returning. Check this place out for happy hour.

Absolutely pathetic, on a slow Tuesday my beer doesn’t come out til my food is arriving. And that y’all wont properly train ur bartender to tilt the glass and pour the beer along the side right below the rim. And u tilt it back upright as it fills creating only bare minimum foam at the top and the beer is ready instantly. NOT! Just dumping it from the spout creating excessive foam. And waiting forever for it to settle. Absolute garbage bartender. I was reminded why i stay away from here. Train ur bartender to pour beer its not hard at all. I could show you a perfect Guinness pour in mere seconds and its ready..

Had such a great experience at Bar Louie – White Marsh thanks to Xavier! From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely engaging. You can tell he really knows his craft — the drinks were perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and came out fast even when the bar got busy.

What really stood out was his personality. He made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and kept the energy upbeat the whole night. It’s rare to find a bartender who’s not only skilled but also makes you feel like a valued guest instead of just another order.

If you’re heading to Bar Louie in White Marsh, definitely grab a seat at Xavier’s bar. He’s a true professional and a big reason we’ll be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Antoine provided Great service to the entire restaurant as he was the only employee working and covering the bar. The atmosphere punched You in the face as soon as you walk in with the smell of that rags and dirty mop. 2nd visit with this experience, after the first drink I couldn’t smell as much.

Delicious dinner, friendly folks, the inside was a little too cold with the AC for my taste (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) but for anyone who likes cooler temps, it would be perfect.

We have eaten here a couple times and we loved our food. I was impressed that the salad dressings are homemade. The French onion soup is delicious. It has a peppery accent that’s different and nice.

Worst experience ever, food took more than an hour to come is was cold and sent back. They were so short staffed I had to call their phone number to get someone’s attention. The server was the only person covering the bar and all the tables, just ridiculous. While I understand things happen but they also had bad attitudes and no manager is site to offer any assistance.

The little chubby thick African american female with the Glasses, was very rude and disrespectful.

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff were extremely rude from the moment I arrived. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them by simply being there. Basic courtesy and professionalism were completely lacking.

To make matters worse, my food was not ready at the time they said it would be. I arrived at the scheduled pickup time and still had to wait significantly longer, with no clear communication or apology for the delay. If you’re going to provide a specific ready time, it should be honored — or at the very least, customers should be informed of delays.

On top of that, the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Service was slow, and it seemed like the few employees working were overwhelmed and frustrated — which unfortunately showed in how they treated customers. I had to repeatedly ask for basic updates and assistance.

I understand that places can get busy, but that doesn’t excuse poor attitude, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior. Sadly, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place unless management seriously addresses both staffing and customer service issues.
