Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’m not really a big fan of whataburger due to the service I’ve had in the past but I tried them again today. I ordered breakfast through the app and did curbside, not only did I wait for about 20 min past the pickup time but the order was wrong. For one, I didn’t receive one of my items (bacon biscuit) and for two the bobs were on the wrong bun (not the small, the regular for lunch) they were covered in so much potato starch on the bottom that they were inedible. Our food was also basically thrown at us.

Awesome, Awesome!! Whataburger are the best. Growing up in Corpus Christi these were and still are the go to burgers. Highly recommended and you can’t wrong. Go get you some fresh Whatabuger!! You won’t be disappointed.

The young lady taking my order was so sweet and cool. I was in the B line, it was a little slower than expected but it was lunch time and I ordered bacon. The lady delivering my order was also so sweet with a hand full of not only my order but the car behind me. The burgers were great but the fries tasted a little like old oil, but with that said they were good enough I ate them all.

Drive through B lane.
Waited almost 30 minutes in the drive through. A lane was moving but B was at a standstill for about 15 minutes before moving once. Then it took a little over another 10 minutes to finally get my food and the fries were not full and barely warm.

went inside thinking everything would be hot sadly no. Both burgers tasted like they had been sitting there awhile the fries were little bits and pieces and not hot either even the apple pies were luke warm. It wasn’t even 4:00 pm so they weren’t crazy busy. What a shame

The employees were all friendly we went inside but ordered to the bathrooms are spotless they got our order exactly right I got honey butter chicken biscuits onion rings instead of tatter totts most Delicious drink banana pudding shake. Of course, a large.

There was a homeless man passed out with all his belongings in the restaurant. There was also a homeless man on drugs that made us very uncomfortable with his jesters. The employees let this happen. They did nothing for the comfort and safety of paying customers.

This was our first time ever here as we moved to Tx this past May. The place didn’t look like a place I’d wanna hurry up and go to so we didn’t. Three of our kids raved about how good the burgers were so we went for breakfast. We quickly learned to not go in lane B where the lady takes your order and payment because lane A was twice as fast. We waited 15 min for our order which was only 2 honey butter chicken biscuit combos with sweet tea. Once our food arrived the hash browns were very hot and tasted good. The chicken biscuit…um not so much, I think they cooked it the entire 15 min cause they both came out burnt and hard as rocks. I was very disappointed and took my piece of chicken out of the biscuit and ate it…so much for our breakfast sandwich. Guess I will never do breakfast again, maybe since it’s a burger joint you should only order a burger. If I go back I’ll leave another review.
