Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I used to really like this place but..I’ve worked in fast food for years now and this whataburger consistently tastes like they aren’t changing their grease often. Its a bit gross. The fries are hard and the chicken is dark brown, not golden.

I’ve been to this Whataburger multiple times and I have yet to have a positive experience with them. Just tonight, I ordered a meal for two people ahead of time and got to Whataburger at the estimated time. After marking I have arrived, I waited an additional 15 minutes for the food to come out, all the while other people that ordered online had come and go. The worker walked up, handed me a single paper bag and walked away quickly with a quiet “good night”. I was immediately concerned since I ordered two meals and only received a single paper bag. The bag had one of the two meals but the receipt on the bag had all of what was ordered on it.
I had to follow the worker back inside just to find out they completely ignored half the order. I then waited inside for an additional 15 minutes waiting for them to make me the other half of the meal I ordered. By the time we got the second meal, the first was cold. A quick 10 minute drive turned into a 45 minute hassel. I’m only writing this because this situation is extremely common at this location and I highly recommend avoiding if you dont want to waste your time.

I absolutely love dining in here. All of the staff are super friendly. My food always comes out exactly as I ordered. The restaurant has been clean every time I’ve dined in. I do like how the staff came and made sure our meals were fine and asked if we needed anything else. I have to say the customer service is definitely on point here. High fives all around!

Jennifer was so so nice and very understanding. I love this Whataburger location the staff is extremely friendly and they always keep the diner clean and ready for more costumer’s. By far one of the best locations Ive ever been to. Jennifer is very good at her job, from what I’ve seen she knows how to keep her employees happy while making sure they stay within the rules and regulations! Love everything about this location and staff!

Every time I make the mistake from ordering here im reminded about how bad they are, never once becides when they first opened have I ever received my full order. Hell one of the nights I went to order in person and one of the few workers was riding on the hood of anothers car in the parking lot.

The food in atmosphere is nice. It’s nice that Santa fe has more variety. The service I would say is really good I ordered some whata strips But somewhere along the way, I forgot my water straps. The manager and staff were friendly and accommodating.
