Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I just don’t understand how they can be this sloppy with burgers this early in the morning. I ordered a number 8 jr size and told them I wanted cheese . ♀️ you know what they gave me a meat patty and sauce everywhere. With a burned buns. Lady didn’t even let me finish my sentence before saying “yes that’s the number 8 jr” but forgot to ask if I wanted cheese.this is not the first time this happened either. Just rude Something definitely has to change in the kitchen I think they need more training. Before sending people’s food off they MIST CHECK THE ORDERS TO MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT

So happy to have this new Whataburger! I dined in and the place was clean, tables were wiped, and the staff was very friendly and organized. My order came out warm and fresh. SUPER CRISPY FRIES. Overall, a convenient and solid spot to eat if you’re nearby!! Totally recommend this location.

I was so happy for the Whataburger to open but everything time I have go it’s always something. I have only had one good meal out of the 5 times In been. Breakfast starts at 11 , I placed my order at 11:26. There is no way why my biscuit look like it’s a day old. I order rancheo picante on my biscuit and burrito and didn’t get it on either one. Order a cup of sausage gravy and did not get it. Hashbrowns were cold, had to ask for some fresh ones. I was in line forever. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Out of all the reviews I’ve done, this has got to be a first.
Where do I begin? It’s a Monday evening and I’ve definitely seen a much busier location. So why it took so insanely long for a burger and fries kind of blew my mind. Over 30 minutes for a simple order.
Then at the front counter, they have some girl who was extremely inconvenienced by people asking for service. She had plenty of time to goof off with her friends though. Good to know Whataburger is still only hiring Grade A employees.
Then I finally get my food. It’s cold. It’s the wrong order entirely. I specifically asked for no tomatoes. Instead I got no cheese and extra tomatoes. Honestly, someone else is probably missing their tomatoes because I got them all instead.
And what’s even worse? I’m not the only one. I could overhear multiple people complaining about their orders being messed up. And again, the girl at the front was very helpful by not paying attention and acting like we were all the problem. These people were even being disrespectful to an officer in uniform. Is this really the quality of people y’all are putting in your stores now?
I’ve gotten better service from other locations in the middle of a hurricane.
If this is how Whataburger is going to treat its customers, then I’m not sure it’s worth eating here anymore.
Definitely won’t ever touch this location again. And I’d advise you not to either.

The burgers taste like meat, but clearly highly processed. The chicken taste like water injected paste, and has a rubber texture. Gas station friend chicken is a better option. At least you know its meat, even if fried 4 hours earlier.

Very dirty (floors, no clean tables). Ran out of sweet tea. Burgers were cold. Hopefully they get their rhythm and staff appropriately to handle their rush times.

Service is Average but the workers need to make sure the food is good to serve. I found a piece of cardboard in my sandwich and I had ordered a Large fry not a regular

I want to start by saying I only came to this location to see what the hype was, I usually go to the whataburger on 99 and Morton. All I ordered was an apple pie and Dr Pepper. If you know me, I love Dr Pepper. I went into the drive thru and received my order fairly quickly. I am so clumsy that I spill my Dr Pepper all over the interior of my car!! I come inside upset but just wanted a new Dr Pepper. I see a young man clocking out, and he helps me with my new drink. He asks what’s wrong and I tell him, he offers to help me clean up the mess. We go to clean up the mess but it stained poorly. So we kept in contact and his name was Federico. A few days later Federico reached out to me and I thought maybe an apple pie ! Hahahaha. Wrong. He surprised me with a new car!!! The same car I had but minus the Dr Pepper stains! Wow can you believe that?! Because I still can’t. 10/10 service and shout out you Federico ! I love this place but I will probably still go to the whataburger off 99.
