Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Needs better customer service. How do you expect to have business when you don’t take orders in drive thru line. It’s happened several times having to wait several minutes in the morning with no one taking order in drive thru line. It’s supposed to be a fast food service. If I have to wait 5-10 minutes until you answer on speaker to take my order I’m going somewhere else to get food like I did this morning especially when there is no one else in the car lane. So you lost my business until you get better service. All of the other Whataburgers I go to isn’t this issue except for this one in Bay City. And I love all the food at Whataburgers. But this is so aggravating. If you fix this issue I will continue to go to this Whataburger in Bay City.

Extremely disappointed. Nashville Hot Whatawings … whata JOKE! No Nashville Hot Flavor, at all. Cheap chicken nuggets with Hot Sauce poured on them. Not worth $8.99 for 8 either.
Sandwich smashed flat an not much on it.
Very thin meat patty, no flavor.
Fries were so soggy – non edible

The WORST Whataburger ever! Food is always cold. They don’t give you the right amount of hash brown sticks, French fries always have full, added a pic of my honey butter biscuit as you can see I got a drip of honey butter that’s it! And don’t order curbside you will never get your food! You will have to go inside to get it. Terrible service. They have WAY too many people working it’s overcrowded in the kitchen everyone running around but nothing getting done. TERRIBLE!

Stopped during the lunch rush. Dine-In. Wait was about 10ish minutes. Our order was accurate and food tasted standard Whataburger.

Thank you Ms Toni for going above and beyond for the customer. I’m going by the name on the receipt. She called me Shug and I liked that.

The only thing my wife can eat here is the fries due to allergies, and they had been dropped 2x in the fryer. They were not good at all. Is it too much effort to make fries fresh. To me it’s worth the 3 minute wait. Seem like there would be less food cost as well to make them to order instead of having a full hopper of old fries. Have them ready to drop and only drop what you have orders for…

I am flabbergasted by the crew I was blessed to encounter. This really was top notch service. I can say I’ve never been to a whataburger where the food and service was on point. I don’t live here but if I ever have the opportunity again I will be stopping by!
