Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Put “fast” in fast food. Unless you are sourcing potato from Idaho and waiting for shipment, fries should not take 30 mins. And, no, its not based on single time experience. People driving through the drive through get their food in 5-10 mins, people in lobby should not have to wait that long.

I am beginning to notice a pattern with Whataburger. This is the second one I’ve been to since I’ve gotten to Texas and pretty much the same experience. I’ve heard people rave about the food here but I find the quality to be worse than anywhere else.
The burgers are sloppy, the buns are stale and the meat is paper thin & chewy. They take no pride in their product.
The people here not only screwed up my order but when I brought it to their attention then didn’t even care. This was after they forgot to even fill the order until I bought it to their attention.
Thank you for now ruining my entire day, as well as my aspirations in regards to your establishment. You are definitely not what I was expecting.

Many times now I’ve asked for cheese on a burger, they charge extra for said cheese, and then don’t put cheese on it. Also asked for no salt on fries and they barely ever do that. What’s the point of even eating at Whataburger anymore besides name recognition? They don’t give you what you order.

Went to a different establishment and didn’t get knowledge. I came here at 10:40 was greeted immediately when I walked in ordered my food came out looking amazing number 2 with cheese, could have used Just A Pinch more fries but other than that it was great.

Now, I do love a good Whataburger… always have… but at this point I don’t go to this Whataburger anymore with any kind of expectation of actually getting what I ordered. I haven’t gotten a correct order in months and today was no different.
None of the three cheeseburgers I ordered today were correct, and only one actually even had cheese. I almost didn’t get my drink. Staff is uninterested in being there and couldn’t care less about taking your order. They throw an attitude when you remind them about something you paid for and didn’t get.

Almost left as there was one guy in line at the counter waiting when I got there and no help in sight. In fact, a gentleman who came in after me did leave after waiting with us a bit. Finally, someone came to the counter and took our orders. I ordered the chicken sandwich meal to go. I waited quite a while for it as well. There were many people after me given their food right away. Some of these were call ahead orders so I get it but not all. I was waiting on the side at the counter closest to the bathrooms. I believe that was my mistake. I noticed people were waiting by the kitchen were asked their number and given food. Once, I moved over there and was seen, they asked for my number “2” and was then given my bag that was sitting there. All and all the sandwich was fine. Fries were a bit soggy. The fancy ketchup is good. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.

Horrible drive thru , waited for at least 30 minutes just for our food to end up wrong. Burgers were dry and not even hot. if anything i would get my money back from that from how horrible it was. this is unacceptable. very disappointed

Went the at 10:30 pm oct 17,2025 my order was wrong. I ordered an extra patty cause me and my wife had ordered two patty milks and I had added a patty. I didn’t get the extra patty when we got the food. The food was cold so I called up there and the guy told me he would remake it to bring the receipt. I bring the receipt I gave the order to them. I waited 45 minutes for them to remake the order because they forgot about me in the lobby. I love Whataburger. It’s not Whataburger‘s fault. It’s the people that make the food. They’re too busy talking worried about other things than making people’s order once I got my food. It was sloppy put together on the patty meal. There was no patty meal sauce, but there was onions. Everything was wrong. I was tired, angry frustrated, but there was no reason for me to take it out on them so I caught my breath then I calm down. I just don’t recommend that Whataburger and corporate I hope they can do better training on their employees. I just wanted to go home and eat from a long day. I already had it rough didn’t come home. Food was terrible. Then she threw in some pies apple pies. I don’t even like apple pies to make up for the weight. I wasn’t expecting anything extra. I just one of my food if y’all don’t wanna work in restaurants, then don’t work there people work hard for their money and they want to get what they paid for and I have to come back twice. Maybe somebody will actually read this maybe not maybe it might actually reach out to somebody. I just think They need the proper training maybe they wasn’t trained right remember, Whataburger was always right and never made a mistake. Maybe a couple of times, but not all the time and they would fix it right there and then instead of having somebody wait that long for a remake and got everybody else’s orders out. .

This was the worst meal I have ever had at a whataburger anywhere. The burger was overcooked, dry and cold. The fries were cold and over seasoned. They didn’t have any soda, which was ok but they didn’t tell us until after we got up to the drink station.
